The soundtrack "Still Alive" is a terrible version of Portal's version, witch was the original one (made in 2005). They took some of the lyrics and gave it a new sound. Though it is new, its vulgar compared to the Portal version. LISTEN TO IT, it is much better.

i dont know what to say dude, i mean i think i can but it will not sound as sincere, this review is by far the best mirror's edge review on youtube, apart from honest u mentioned about alot of details left out by mainstream reviewers, like the loading time or my favorite the puzzle song from the shard level, extremly well done dude, byw i didnt know u could do that animation at the very end of the vid. lol

Great review man. My favourite song in the game is during the main puzzle level.. I forget what it's called. It's the one where you have to climb up and up until you get to a vent, then you shoot at the police van with the sniper. That music suited perfectly for a puzzle level, usually I would of probably got frustrated, but that music kept me calm.

I finished the game earlier, I was trying to get the no gun achievement, but just thought screw it, haha.

@JamieWilmotSOS You're welcome. I'm glad you mentioned that you liked the main puzzle, since from what I read, people hated the game's puzzles. Personally I loved them! You can download the whole soundtrack for free on google if you want, it's worth it.

@WorldOfSnakes Yeah, I think it's just people wanting games to hold their hands these days. If a puzzle can't be solved in two minutes in a game of this generation, people rage and give up. I'm going to look into that. :)

Now i don't own the game, but i get the impression that this game would be the ULTIMATE rental game however not exactly the best deal for 60 bucks. I think im going to either rent or wait till the price drops.

We think almost exactly alike regarding this game. Very very good, true and honest review. :) If the gameplay would be 100% Parkour it would be almost perfect, IF it would have fewer collision errors that is.

ME's gameplay is not "new" Portal uses the same basic gameplay, and was the 1st running FPS. People may say "ME is nothing like Portal" but thats like saying Left 4 Dead is nothing like Halo. The storys are not the same but the basics of the game are the same, kill kill kill. Im sure EA got the idea for ME after playing Portal. Which is not a bad thing and EA did add in some new stuff but its not the 1st FPS based on getting from A to B with little to no killing

Anyways, I do agree with your comment, but still not. Because all games in a genre have the same objective.
