The original was an amazing tech achievement for 1982. Notice how Kevin Flynn, Toaster (from 'The Brave Little Toaster'), and WALL-E all have their jump-into-the-thing-to-save-their-friends moment. Actually, so did Big Bad John (who was big but not bad).
@IggyHazard Yes the '82 graphix were phenomenal for that time. Another thing to notice Flynn, Toaster and Wall-E were forced into saving their friends and they did not hesitate to do so. X-)
@tim12161974 Jeff Bridges (Flynn) and Bruce Boxleitner (Alan/Tron) return. I read on Wikipedia that Cindy Morgan (Lora/Yori) might be making a return as well. But the new main character are played by Garrett Hedlund (Flynn's son).
I wish that David Warner could had made a spot but it sounds like he's not.

@jrc99us WALL-E and Toaster got rebuilt. Flynn goes back into the "real" world. Big Bad John died.
