  • The first clip is from the Sportatorium in Hollywood Florida on February 12, 1977! I was at that concert! Elvis was the King! TCB....

  • Not sure if you meant this comment ppher683 but the clips are from Chicago October 1976 and Pittsburgh December 1976.

  • @ppher683 The clip is,and Elvis was???No,The clip was and Elvis IS!!!:-)

  • Never saw Elvis live but I would say that he was awesome in his 70's jumpsuit days. If I were there, this song would have been worth the price of admission!

  • Agreed, and he did most of it without all the modern flashing lights, and huge stage effects. All of the magic emanated from the man himself.

  • Great!thank you so much!!!:)

  • Ohh, I didn't know he sang this song in concert. I love this song very much! One of his most beautiful songs! R.I.P. Elvis! Thanks so much for uploading this. Betti XXXXXXX

  • There are many undiscovered gems, have a search for 2 not very well known songs ....And The Grass Won't Pay No Mind... and Marguerita.--I think they are great.

  • It's a great song! I Never knew he sang that live...thanks for sharing :)

  • I was around when Ketty Lester first released her version and it is brilliant. What I find interesting is the cruel vehemence Elvis receives from certain quarters while continuously being admired by millions. Clown definitely not, weak willed possibly yes.

  • You took me off again?! But kept her on? WTF is your problem?

Take her comment off about ELVIS,

  • I took you off because you verbally attacked me and swore. This is my site, my efforts and I make the decisions.

The fact that Mr Average is critical in 2009 means little and changes nothing in the great scheme of things. He was the Muhummad Ali of the entertainment world - a man with unique abilities with imperfections but nevertheless an enduring legend..

  • listen to the recorded version hes serious and not playing around.

  • As i sit here at my computer listing to Elvis"The King" i cry not only from him dying so young this song bring's back memeroies of the man i loved & still Terry M.Russell of Muldrow i cry because i let the true Love of my life slip bye like Elvis must have felt losing Percilla.Love You Elvis you'll live forever in my heart.Margaret Hess

  • excellent,live in Tuscaloosa,Alababa August 31,1976.

  • I love this song. I have it on a tape & play it quite often. Does anyone know if it's available on CD.

  • yes it is on many cd's tret his 60's box set....you have great taste

  • Yes it's on cd.

  • This is so great! I love it! Thank you so much for sharing this!

  • What a performer!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ELVIS was is and will be everything when it comes to music...

    He is the ultimate artist

    Love him so much

  • "Love Letters", the original '66 recording, is one of Elvis' very, very, very best and most beautiful recordings. The '70-remake is very good too, but there are not many recordings in popular music that come close to the '66 one.

  • Agreed, yet the record company put All That I Am on volume 3 of the European version of Hitstory at the expense of a top tenner like Love Letters ..crazy

  • I never seen this! Thanks a lot for posting.

  • Great footage.Thanks for posting.
