okay, none of this was really that bad. Honestly the tailgater was probably the worst. I hate tailgaters. I mean the big rig didn't even push on his breaks. In an ideal world it would be great if everyone would keep their spacing and give you plenty of room to merge in, but even here if I turn on my blinker to merge over to another lane the people give me just enough room to squeeze in.
@halfawake454 besides I would argue that most (key word) mistakes or poor driving on the road is from ignorance, the driver isn't intentionally doing what they are. I know from experience that this is certainly a case. I didn't need that $172 ticket to stop me from doing what I did (in this case I didn't come to a complete stop at a stop sign), just alert me to my mistake. Leave the tickets for those making the HUGE or obvious infractions.
The officer's explanation says it all ... just because you changed your mind doesn't mean you need to endanger other drivers with erratic driving behavior!
@inpact cuz he is a police. if u r a police, rules of the road doesnt apply to u. if u get a ticket, the charges will ALWAYS be dropped. life aint fair. if the citizens can give tickets, it will all go to the law enforcement officers. lets see if they like it
and everyone got a freebie day. there is still some nice officers out there to tell you what you did wrong and not to do it again and not charge you several hundred dollars!
Notice that the other law enforcement officer was just let go...guess the rules of the road don't apply to the police, nice! What is the true definition of "cutting someone off"? From what I could see, that cab had plenty of room when he changed lanes in front of that semi. My definition of being cut off is when I have to slam on my brakes because some douche pulls out right in front of me and I have to avoid hitting them. That was not the case with that cab and semi.
@scooter1977 Ummmm, everyone was given warnings. Therefore everyone was 'let go'. Don't try and make it out like there is something in this when there clearly isn't
@ustfu They probably did, found out he was a cop, and Stanley didn't put his face up for everyone to see. He seemed to be driving an undercover patrol car, maybe he was working vice?
@emantabrizi you don't know how many other bad drivers Stanley filmed for this segment. There are lots of tremendously aggressive and careless drivers, of all shapes & sizes & races & genders. Seems like a mandatory visit to driving safety school was in order for some of the bad behavior seen in the video, but the cop was feeling quite generous (giving out only warnings) since Stanley was doing a ride along.
I always see police officers on their cellphones or taking two parkings in parking lots here in los angeles!

Why was the Law Enforcement officer not given a warning?
inpact 1 month ago
@inpact They never said if we was pulled over, ticketed, given a warning, or what. Don't assume.

Pulled over Asian drivers, go figure they are the most aggressive drivers. Well except the chp officer, he was nice enough to only give warnings.
dontwalkhand 1 month ago
@dontwalkhand LOL are you still living in the 60s? This was in San Francisco. Of course you'll see more Asians pulled over.
Go to Oakland, you're likely to pull over more black drivers.
Go to San Jose, you're likely to pull over more Latino drivers.
Go to Walnut Creek, you're likely to pull over more white drivers.
Demographics, son!

Well said. Ignorance of geography, demographics, and history is such a shame.

Seriously I wish they would do this more often in San Jose. Southbay drivers are the most rage prone inconsiderate tools on the road.

all I have to say is that the cops should ovey the same laws they are paid to protect.
