  • Fuck that

  • And I am wondering. People who critisize China, how are you rly thinking? Have you flown with a chinese flight? If not then be quiet. And for the record, grow up.

  • I am still wondering why pilots of big jets do not wear better hearing protection. It seems like small jet and piston aircraft pilots wear thick hearing protection, yet these guys are always seen wearing small 80's style headsets.

  • @JarvisJesseT because there is less noise

  • doe dan chow?

  • 1:45 - 1:48, What was that?

  • @ExtremeFaithInJesus

    Turn-off the autopilot

  • @B737Man just wondering, why do they turn off the autopilot? why don't they leave it to land itself?

  • @Khazar01 maby they wanted to land manualy ?or there wasnt ILS in this airport ...

  • @B737Man i guess so, since the approach button was on until 1:45, and they turned it off, maybe they only make automatic landing in foggy weather

  • @Khazar01 Maby you right , but they can land automatic in every weather..

  • @Khazar01 First, auto-land what you are referring do, can only be done at certain airports that has the equipment for it. The auto pilot can be turn off at any time above 400' which if preferred by most airlines. That is done at the captain discretion. Pilots will land over 99% of the time. They always have to turn the A/P off unless using autoland. The ILS is only a guide to get down to the runway at the proper height and place. After that, they take over when they have a visual of the runway.

  • @CaptainArt777 Thanks for the info my friend, i didn't know that there should be a special equipment for the autoland to work, I thought that the ILS provided the GS and the direction and below a certain altitude the autopilot only lands the plane by cutting down the power and flaring the plane.

Too much FSX for me i guess :)

  • @Khazar01 Thank you. Another item needs to be corrected. The A/P does not control the power. Even when using autoland, the pilots must still control the power and apply the flaps at the proper time. Try to get an hour flight at you local airport. One 12y got one from his parents and love it. When he was up in the air he yell out loud " Wow, the graphics are great ".

  • @CaptainArt777 jajajajajajaja EXESO DE FSX

  • @germangomeza340 Hey kid, why don't you make your self clear. No one knows what you're talking about. And grow up.

  • @CaptainArt777 exes just said was a flight simulator but nothing and makes me laugh! ahh and I remembered what I had written I wrote it in SPANISH

  • @germangomeza340 At least you can write in spanish and english, not many people can. I have some spanish, dutch, and understand a little german.

  • @ExtremeFaithInJesus auto pilot disenage

  • typical visibility in china lol

  • Damn Chinese & their Chinese...

  • howw is he alnding with one hand like its some go kart!

  • @lakalas11 Normal procedure...he keeps one hand on the thrust lever to reduce power/ increase if using reverse/ increase if going around.

  • i wish they can tape landings like that, but with full HD, not these 5mega picsels xD

  • do pilots need to look at the screen to know how fast they are and the decent/climb rate or they are just like driving a car.( sorry for bad english)......

  • @heoconheoful Actually when they come in for landing....they have autothrottle (autopilot controls the desired speed selected) on and they turn it off at around 300ft or minimums then pull the throttle back so its a smooth landing.

  • @LittleLuckk Pilot on this flight disconnected the autopilot and autothrottle above 1000ft. You can hear the disconnect warning before the copilot called 1000ft above elevation.

  • @heoconheoful

of course they do.... what a question lol

  • perfect landing captain

  • is it normal that such instruments PFD disappear?

  • @ZitumboX Hi, instruments no disappears, its effect for video camera frames per second.

  • the 747 beats airbusa380 i love 747 esspicially in a place next to heathrow academy you can watch them land ive only seen 3 but it was a good exepierince

  • anyone... when do you lower the landing gear

  • @PilotGery1 when its time

  • @planes142 ya... what iam asking about is.. WHEN IS THIS 'ITS TIME'

  • @PilotGery1 lol im only joking with you :P

  • @planes142 ooo... okay

  • @PilotGery1 it depends, i normally do it (in fsx) when im on final.

  • @PilotGery1 about 10 to 8 miles out from the airport, of corse it also depends on your speed.

  • The sound at 1:45 is the autopilot disengage?

  • @jorgen1990 yes

  • God, i hope the ATC is well paid

  • Chinese ATC is hell

  • @AminiAaron lol

  • Anything involving flying in China is hell.

  • no good this video

  • Its an Chinese airliner for sure

  • singair cargo

  • what airlines?

  • What if you don't speak Chinese how do you know what ATC is saying i though the international language was English.

  • It is, however (So I have been told by a former international cargo pilot who used to fly DC-8s for BAX global) if a pilot and ATC controller speak the same language (like Chinese in this case) They are allowed to speak that language if they choose to

  • ohh that makes sence ok then thanks

  • No problem =)

  • why do the screens go berserk at 3:05

  • its an effect of the screens being filmed, i'm not sure why it happens but thats how tv's look on camera.

  • but how come not at like lets say 0:18

  • That effect you see is due to the screen refresh rate off the cockpit CRTs....if the camera frames persecond is 30 and the CRTs 10....the CRTs will appear to flash constantly.

  • @faosfx it does not neccesery to have 10 fps...if the cam has 30 and a screen 25 that would be the same problem as well

  • to give you a better idea, its jus like using your phone camera to film anything moving on your computer, the pixels is not greater than the actual picture

  • think its the auto pilot being dis-engaged

  • open a map > click on rwy wich want 2 land > there's a txt with info about this rwy(4 example: rnw 27L in Heathrow ILS frq is 109.5) PS: Sorry 4 my english im from Poland

  • whats that sound in 1:48? how do i do an ILS approach in FSX?

  • look for the ILS frequency in the map for the runway, then enter it at NAV1 and activate APP when you here a signal (B744)

  • the sound is the AutoPilot Disconnect-winer...

  • that's the A/P being disengaged.

  • Yes I have got an answer to my question. .. u can let the A/T arm switched on and disengage the autopilot, and fly it manually but it will be still ILS system as the freq is tuned to radio.. and A/T arm will maintain ur vref + 5 knots speed until you retard the throttle to IDLE .. and deploy reverser levers or according to the comment of other guy .. the A/T throttle wod automatically disengae @ 20 ft above ground, touch down safely and deploy reverser lever.

  • why don't they ever use the CD player ? It is standard issue on all 747s. Don't pilots like music?

  • Where do you know? Maybe they like to listen music enroute and not while landing the aircraft =)

  • i had the same question...any answers??

  • A/THR is disengaged.

  • haha me too

  • we will die :D

  • This pilot knows what's he doing! Great Landing

  • what happened to the instruments on the visual

  • if you are talking about the flashing it is making. It's the camera capturing speed, it's not the airplane itself.

  • smooooooth.. very nice

  • How do you get up to the cockpit to film these?

  • This was probably filmed by the second officer that is in the cockpit with the captain and the first officer.

  • Nice landing

  • medain medain

  • pooor weather wtf and he can land o.o

    well done :D

  • good landing sir

  • why?

  • it aint retiring for a long time man

  • can some one pls tell me why airbus put joysticks in their cockpits why they want the pilot to feel like it is a simulator lol?

  • fuk u i just asked why they had it

  • well idk but its probably nice to have not have a yoke there so you can hold charts or whatever and have a little room to work with.

  • No, it's so that you don't have a yoke in front of your PFD :)

  • GOOD LANDING

  • Northwest airlines?

  • Is the fog outside pollution or just bad weather?

  • No Its for Acars. to send messages.

    or to get some information!

  • Why some plane has 3 FMC's on the cockpit? I mean: 1 for the Capt. , 1 for the F/O and 1 for ???

  • Back up incase one fails and also for the pilot in the jumpseat. (if there is one.)

  • A relief pilot on long distance journeys

  • The screens are not flickering, they are high refresh aircraft grade screens. This is an effect caused when a bright background is captured alongside a refreshing display of any kind by a digital camera.

  • tehy all do this when a camera i spointed toward them

  • They only look like that because of the camera if you hold a camera up to your computer screen you'll get the same effect.

  • wow who wouldnt like having this job

  • My DreamJob Is To Be A AirLine Pilot!!!

  • Why do the video instruments start going all wonky when they are landing?

I thought maybe screen refresh rate being out of sync with the camera recording, but if that's the case why only during landing?

  • dreamjob

  • I heard the controller say Shenzen. I teach English to these controllers at Miami-Dade College, School of Aviation where they come for ATC and aviation English training. They are excellent controllers and speak the standard ICAO phraseology well, but when a pilot reports anything other than routine, they have difficulty communicating. I'm doing my best with them now.

  • i see this in china, are there multiple ATC channels one for english one for chinese?

  • no there aren't multiple channels, every controller speaks fluent english so either you choose to speak english or the country's national language. the phonetic alphabet is always in english though

  • There are some airports where the autopilot is switched on only moments after take-off. London Heathrow for example has very narrow corridors both for landing and taking off, leaving the corridors can cause huge fines, so getting the Flight Computer set up right and turning on the autopilot can help you a lot. I dont see the advantage of waiting with the a/p either, the a/p helps you fly the plane so you can concentrate on atc and traffic as you climb

  • this is an ok video i htink the plane is mouthfunctunig cause of the screens though

  • say it with me.... "malfunctioning"

  • I just want to know..I hate flying and watching these vids does put me at ease, but are the pilots constantly working when flying or do they put the plane on auto pilot once up in the air then sit back and have a chat? lol I have just heard that auto pilot fly most planes nowadays and i wondered if pilots are actually nervouse when flying or is it just like me jumping in my car and driving?

  • It depends what year plane and country

    for more info ask me

  • for me it is an aspiration I want to accomplish. Ever since I was a child I knew I wanted to be an Airline Pilot.

But it isn't easy like driving a car. Well maybe for some, but there is a lot to it.

  • I thought i wanted to be a pilot but im very good at designing stuff drawing...

  • Once the plane is off the ground and well into its climb, the autopilot is turned on. That doesn't mean the pilots can just stop working. They are constantly monitoring all the instruments, gauges, keeping in contact with Air Traffic Control during then entire flight, and yes, they do fly manually in bad conditions at the recommendation of the FAA.

  • this is untrue. I was reading a blog from an American Eagle CRJ-700 F/O who talks about flying the plane up to 24,000 ft before putting on the autopilot.

    Google Byrd in the Sky

  • like i said, once the plane is well into its climb....I would say that 24,000+ feet is well into the climb.

  • yes, even if they are cruising using autopilot they still make contact with ATC from whatever country they pass and monitor the gauges and the clouds. They usually avoid heavy clouds.

  • i really wanna be a pilot when im older and was there an electrical failure because all the screens were flashing and stuff

  • no, if the screen are all flashing, its because the camera frame rate is not the same as the screen so its making ilusion of failure . thanks

  • so thats wat that was I was wondering why is everything flashing and i thought it was just bad lighting ty for informing me

  • the 747 isnt considered by pilots to be a fun airplane to fly. IT must be such a buzz to fly these big aircraft as they are such heavy airplanes. They must handle like the weight of 300 cessna 172's

  • I consider it fun! In fact I've flown with the Captain in this Video!

  • my dad is a pilot... i wanna b one wen i get older :] i think it would be awsommmeee :)

  • good landing

  • Very good video, coming from a future major airline pilot, but the camera is a little shakey...

  • whats that gear in the middle ?

  • The Throttle Lever

  • Arm your speed brakes, spoilers and have a hard landing. Your passengers would love it. Oh don't forget about the micro burst coming from your ass.

  • Take the sock or cock out of your mouth so we can hear ATC on final.

  • if you can understand falafall languange then you would understand this....lol Sounds like coachroaches are trying to land IFR...lol

  • is that how they control the engine with that gear shift looking thing in the middle

  • thats a newer 747-400

  • no its not

  • ho lonh takes the clases for the flight license?

  • It doesn't seem like really hard work the pilot does, does it?

  • You have to get the ego right, screw alot of flight attendents and know when to kiss ass.

  • haha real talk

  • Probably doesn't seem it from this video but the flight crew are very highly trained. There's a lot of stuff pilots do which passengers don't see. E.g route planning, performance calculations, programming the flight management computer etc. It's a bit more complex than riding a bike, put it that way.

  • yes your´re right there it´s a hard job like it doesn´t seems to us but it is. As pilot you´ve to be very good trained and in a very good healty

  • What's the alarm at 1:46 ?

  • auto pilot goin disengage

  • What does it means at 2:55?

  • At that 'minimums' point, the flight crew must have the runway in sight ("Landing") or go around.

  • What a landing!!! 5*

  • Dudes, they would understand them, They are asians from Singapore, Singapore speaks good english and manda chinese as well.

I want to say their landing was very smooth and good for cargo plane

  • This is Singapore Cargo

  • Great airline anyway!

  • this is not air china!! they speak to good english. lol!! hehe

  • It's Sinapore Cargo. Listen for the call sign towards the end.

  • Is this Air China?

  • This is Singapore Cargo

  • i love boeing 747-400 !

  • sorry, "first officer"

  • That is why you have two pilots, the captain and the fist officer..

after all two heads are better than one!..

    Ernest

  • those pilots are really good...

i mean to be able to understand that asian on the radio

  • man wat da fuck why was he cotrolling throttles while A/t was armed??

  • Its important that the PIC keeps his hands on the throttles in any event or circumstance the aircraft would need to immediately speed up. Its like during takeoff, some pilots keep their hand on the throttle even though TO/GA button is used.

  • Dont u see it?

The throttles set for lower speed, when he takes his handoff it goes down, depend on the wind, he might need to give more speed than the auto is set at,

  • u fuckin faget

  • 100.. retard retard retard retard..

  • SIA Cargo

  • what's the airline?

  • Why are the monitors going funny when they reach the aproach ?

  • they arent, they are just out of tune with the camera's refresh rate. if you werent looking through the camera the monitors would look normal

  • The alarm was the warning that they had disconnected the autopilot.

  • Woah, what was that alarm at 1:46??

  • wow im glad i get to fly one of those for a living:)unluckyyyyyyyy

  • Miért mondja az elején azt háromszor, hogy Budapest?

  • Them guys landing the 747 like its a piece of cake. Amazing.

  • Long Approach!!!!!!Losing Patience!!!

  • Why is it that all these vids seem to be so bright you can't see out the window?

  • ...the sun.

  • Because of the brightness definition range. Those Video cameras on the market in this moment has narrow definition range comparing to human's eye. So if you try to record bright part then the camera automatically adjust but then the dark part become blackout. In contrast if you try to take darker part then bright part become whiteout.I believe in the future some company will release Hi definition (brightness)range camera which is closer to human eye.

  • dude u kno ur stuff
