Would I get around the same fps if I put in a Q9550 @ 2.83Ghz with 3gig 800mhz ram and a 3870 512 mb?? I thinking about putting in the Q9550 in my Dell XPS 420 and upgrading my graphics card to above a 9800 and better supply... Will I get FPS around yours? By the way great video and I am subin'

@thefsxflyer Also I am not sure about my graphics card I am getting at the moment only because I have heard that FSX is a CPU intensive game and from my experience that seems to be the case.

I'm trying to get a new computer. The one with the i5 is 400$ cheaper with higher core speed. So, I'm not sure which one I should go with.

when you fly would you say you get graphics like this video with a steady 40+ frame rate with no stuttering? Cheers nice machine gonna be buying a computer tomorrow with i7 860, 8GB DDR3 RAM @ 1333Mhz and some other things, only let down is the card which will be a GT220, but I will just deal with that until DX11 cards are out.

Only 25% of you're performance will come from the graphics card.
