  • yo hit whats good brother i have been going hard hit a little wall with some shoulder pain so i slowed down a bit focused more on core for about a week but im not tryna lose my progress what strength exercises can help me get stronger with out tearing up my front deltoid........

  • Wassup man, Im 6"4 170lbs and tryna get to 190-200 by the summer...So i been wanting to do calisthenics, I'm more concerned with functional strength but the weights seem to be making me stronger and heavier faster. What do you think i should? Do you think calisthenics can make me 20 lbs heavier n like 50 lbs stronger (bench press) by June?

  • @keithhazle I think you should visit my website and invest in my CHISELED-IN-30 fitness dvd, it is a program you can do anywhere, you don't need any equipment and it has dieting booklets to follow it.

  • @keithhazle dude i think that with weights will get you heavier faster why u just add mass,if u are at a certain level at calisthenic then u will get muscles harder but with weights its easier just increase the weights every week or 2,to get more mass with calisthenics u will need to add extra weights on yourself

  • @taha786ism as often as you like, and you can add more reps and sets to it be creative.

  • Hey Hit, i want to start calisthenics and i have a question...there are no pull-ups in the basic routine...but i can manage to do 2-8 depending on the grip (wide, narrow etc.). Should i do them too and if yes, wich ones and how often? till muscle failure? I did weight lifting for 5 years but it was 6 years ago and now i am really out of shape and i want to get fit and healthy again! Your vids are a great inspiration!!! Thanks!

  • @Panzer1981vtr1000sp1 I honestly believe the best thing for you right now, would be my CHISELED-IN-30 program, it's get you in shape in 30 days, and then you can move on to getting back into the calisthenics hard.

    my cousin can do 4 pull ups, but i made him do 25 total pull ups (broke it into sets) then the next 4-5 days he was sore. now he cant do 1 pull up. i feel worried what should i do to make him start improving on pull ups. and myself too, how can i increase. i can only do 16 now but i want to get to 40. so can you give advice.

  • Hey you have any advice for a person with long arms like myself when doing pull ups. These exercises are such a long range of motion for me. I mean push ups, benching I'm ok I just have problem with this one pulling exercise.

  • @dj2600 Well it's actually going doing the pull exercises because it increases strength, for you i would suggest the full range of motion is great, because it help better muscular development.

  • @theSSs1 that is where yoy are wrong. He has stated he does not lift weights. and coming from me, a person who is pretty skinny that people point it out to me also lol I started weights, gained strength and some size. But once I purchased my pull up bar, dips etc station and worked on that instead of weights, did I noticed a real strength increase and much tighter and harder muscle gain. When i went bad to the weights one day a week, it was almost effortless to list what I used to find hard.

  • @joelgomez1000 CALISTHENICS IS BETTER THEN WEIGHTS. UR ACTUALLY LIFTING UR BODY WEIGHT WORKING THE MUSCLES U WOULD LIFTING AND MUSCLES U DONT WORK LIFTING.

    just do regular push-up "always till u fail- till u canot do single more" and in time u will be able to do diamond ;)

    i can do 30 diamond and 60 regular...

  • @charles598 work more the triceps,do normal push ups,dips at stairs and also you can try diamond push ups with the hands higher than the other body,that's easier ;)

  • Good workout brutha. I have one similar to that but including more gymnastics and martial arts movements plus stretches and jumps and side to side agility movements. You're doing a great job mayne and I'm glad to support you my brutha!

  • what should i do if i do warm up but then i do push ups my right elbow hurts?

  • @daveecr7 I use one of these on EACH arm at the elbow, and it has worked wonders for me. Position the PAD on the spot of your elbow that hurts. I have Tennis Elbow (outside) on my left arm, and Golfers elbow (Inside) on my right arm.
