I wish I'd planned things out better for the vid, but I still love the way it turned out. I also made some changes to my house plan later since I needed the house to be more functional. But I kept all of the gardens and the altars! I'm glad the vid inspired you. :)

On July 2010, I stumbled upon this video. It made me want to get 99 Construction. I was dirt poor but I managed to get it a month later from 86. A few weeks later, I decided I want a house like yours, so I deleted my whole house and rebuilt it just like yours. I tweaked it a little as I planned on playing on my account for a long time. Anyways, 16 months have passed and my house is almost completed! I need around 55M more cash to complete it but I'm in no rush of completing it!

@akathecoolist What do you mean? The only task I couldn't kill with my cannon was dwarves. I didn't do priest in peril so I didn't have to worry about the slayer tower tasks. If you look at my 99 slayer vid it has a list of my tasks in the vid info.

@LxNightriderxL You go to the housing agent and ask to redecorate. It costs anywhere from 5-25k, but it's worth looking at the different designs.

For the marble portals, do each individual portal frames require 3 Marble blocks? So all 3 portals in a room would require 9 marble blocks? Plus, the scrying pool so a maxed portal room would be about 4m, right?

@CodCats Yes on 3 blocks per portal. I'm not sure about the scrying pool, I don't think I have those.

@CodCats well that's tricky. Cause when you get 99 you might want to remodel entirely. Since you can't just move rooms around, you have to decide if you want to buy expensive things now when you might have to redo it later. I'd definitely recommend doing sc for hammers to make it cheaper on training, but it is still expensive. I prolly wouldn't do any marble yet, though.

@ViIIandra Yeah, I was planning on using SC Hammers till 99 so it will only be 60m for 99. When I get my house I want it to be perfect so I'll probably wait till around 97. Also, are Marble Spiral Stairs worth it? I wish there was something between plain stairs and marble...

@Desupty I recorded it all and then edited out the interfaces. If you watch closely you can catch one that I missed. To save you some trouble, it's at 2:44 - 2:45. The editing with windows movie maker isn't always very precise, so even when it looks like you're cutting it out you don't always. What I would have done differently is started recording from the same place I left off after banking. That way it would look like I built it all in one inventory.

@HuntHogElf unregistered hypercam 2. It says so in the top left corner. I have also used CamStudio, which doesn't leave a mark on the screen. You can record in very good quality in hypercam, but the file sizes are huge. Most of my vids are shot at 75% quality I think. It's whatever the default settings are.

@blaklandwar, no construction to 99 usually costs from 110 to 150M. 150M is really the fastest way, i believe it's oak dungeon doors.
