I think she should have gone country during the auditions. The "CASTING" round needed a country girl and she sings better than that Kendall girl which the judges weren't too big on. I think Kristen would have made it to top 13 via wildcard if she went country. She probably would have made it over Jorge in her group if she did.

I know this was a couple of years ago but -This is an incredibly talented young lady. Ignorance on the part of the country music industry about the song choice? Ha! You can't get more country than that! Put anything in front of her and she can sing the hell out of it. Nay sayers...She is talented beyond just being able to look pretty and stay in tune. anastasia (the girl judge) irritated the hell out of me on this episode... The best country started out like this with yodeling! I loved the next week though when larry the cable guy went on there and said he wanted to give them all hell for yelling at her for yodeling cause that was TRUE country! && I agree. I'm only 16 and i know that, that is the real country.

Left me with a smile on my face. Is there a chance we can lose the part at the end when the judges express their rather 'learnt' oppinions? I don't know if it is possible to edit it out. The yodelling had a warmth to it and the voice was great. What an awesome entertainer!
