The priest of a buddhist temple was seen in the interview of the television today. Page 1 of the history of a peaceful temple was seen. There is the German character. I who is Japanese feel thanks and the boast of a peaceful temple to the German priest of a buddhist temple. I am a temple where it wants to go by all means.
I saw a documentary once on TV in which a German abbot was doing work around his small temple in rural Japan, at one point he was waist deep in a river running past the building, clearing weeds. I've been hunting for it. Does that ring any bells? Anyone seen that?
When was this film made? I was just reading in Arthur Braverman's book "Living and Dying in Zazen" that Antaiji had closed years ago and is no more. Thank you for this wonderful view.
Dear friend, this video has been made on November 2007. Antaiji was founded by Roshi Kodo Sawaki, and it was located in Kyoto. After his death, the temple was moved into its present location, in Kutoyama, near Hamasaka. Best regards!

Mjudic,
Thank you very much for your information. I am glad that the temple still exists, even if it's in a new location. It looks beautiful.
