Religion means 'back to bondage' and I want nothing to do with it. Most of this is very good... but I don't see what's wrong with using candy or other incentives to get lost young people who have dead spirits to come hear preaching that they wouldn't normally have come to hear. Many of the things you've shown here are clearly taught by the Bible to be wrong, such as taking witnessing lightly, dating ourside of one's faith, kidnapping, using violence, embracing the world's image, etc. I hope the clip with the JW's wasn't a slam on door to door evangelism.

I can see the attraction that Christianity has for people who have made bad choices in life. It offers hope, a fresh start, forgiveness and some relief if not riddance from a guilty conscience.(Christianity is big in prisons)..not to mention eternal life.

Whilst I am not perfect in any way, and I have made a few unwise choices, I am not "desperate", and even if I was, I just couldn't kid myself that it was true, just because I wanted it to be... or needed it to be.

You are right. I cannot disprove God. Dawkin's has a scale of 1-7 (1 being absolutely certain there is a God and 7 being absolutely certain there isn't, a scale on which Dawkin's considers himself 6.9 ). 7 is impossible from a scientific point of view. Someone could come up with proof tomorrow. I am a 6.9 atheist too. Just as I am a 6.9 fairy sceptic. It is impossible to "prove" fairies don't exist. But I think that it is highly unlikely, and almost certainly just superstition.

Thanks for the courteous response. Your answer is that Christians are trying to save me from hell. I'm not sure all Christians' motives are so pure, but that aside for one moment. For Christians hell is just as certain as the effects of the law of gravity. Ok. I get it. My "soul" is going to burn forever. (But yours will too if the Allah worshipping lot are right.)

Or here's an idea...follow your own faith and leave others to their own beliefs, or lack of. . If they want to convert, or if they are interested in your faith, they will walk into a church. Evangelism, the desire to make other people believe the same as you do, is creepy. Why not leave other people alone. I hate it when somebody tries to convert me. Why do we feel the need to re-invent the way we preach the gospel? We make it cheeky, funny and though provoking yet there is almost no change int the people we try to reach. The Word of God is living, breathing, it is the same to day as it was then. there is nothing we need to change to make it applicable for today. Since the early 50's we have changed the way we present the gospel and things have become worse.

no change in the people, you are joking right. we live in a postmodern socisty. with the help of communication and easy travel, the world is no longer small and so everything is rapidly changing; thus so are people. its the same gospeel, its just a differnt method. 200 years ago, preaching on the streets might of work, doesn't now, 50 years ago, door to door might have worked, doesn't now. things have got worse and church is in decline but I have only seen that in churches that arn't changing...

Plenty of evidence is available. The bible itself, the world around you and miracles (as well as occurences Christian-related. Ex. discovery of Noah's Ark) I don't think I'll be able to convince you through the internet, but I do pray that maybe you'll start to believe. Christianity isn't a religion in my eyes. These evidences sound a lot like the evidence that is provided by any one of the thousands of world religions for their gods. It is always week evidence that requires faith. Faith never leads to truth - only belief.
