I think Instant Noodles is having trouble on ABDC because they're a street Bboy crew. It's more freestyle, very little choreography is incorporated. Also, they need to spice up their moves, a little too repetitive in my opinion and too much posing. @Celexaful in the beginning of their whack track week (the right stuff) quest took the bit where project seoul had one of their members flip his shirt and pants around so that it looked like he was doin freezes and hops when really hes just jumpin. quest admitted they did and hok apologized. im not sure about the dance band tho

Like in the "Airstrike" performance where hirano holds lydia while she makes the hole with her leg and ryan jumps through, other crew(s) may have done that

The problem is that the voters don't caree about technical stuff as much unless it is presented in a way that is exciting. These little technical bboy moves are going to go unnoticed unless you're a judge.
I hope they do well because they're "style-based" bboying is something America needs to see, but I'm afraid it is going to go unnoticed.
I apologize, it's true that they have bboy choreography, but the judges on ABDC always want more hip hop choreography. Instant noodles reminds me of Massive Monkeys and they were critiqued on their choreography. It's sad, but thats just the way it is. America is not very informed about bboying and it's America's decision.

Nope, sadly ABDC got me into dance so i somewhat fall into that ABDC category. But since then I've been following some non-abdc dancers on youtube and such as well as some bboying so i know a tiny bit, but I'm definitely not an expert at anything.

Honestly if it were up to judges not the voters to choose winners, Super Cr3w might not have won because they were always on the bottom because we only do routines. Maybe individually, but as a crew, Instant noodles would be better. Most bboy crews show off the tricks and power moves in there performances. Instant noodles are based off style and musicality which judges look at and then some aha.
@larry0371crew For three reasons. #1 - World of Dance is a pretty big event with a lot of exposure. #2 - Only one crew (or 2 if your country has the previous year's winner) qualifies to go to BoTY. #3 - BoTY has much more appeal outside the US. It's not as big of a deal here.

If you think this is boring then you dont know what breaking really is. Breaking is more then just flips, flares and headspins. You cant will a battle only doing powermoves. Gymnasts could do flares and i bet most of them cant dance.
This crew has their own unique style that i havnt seen any crew do. Which makes them one of my fave.
Instant noodle is dope to bboy fans, just like how justin bieber has his litle fan girls. lmfao jk, but whatever you do of course u appreciate more vs someone who really has no idea whats going on. Bboying is actually very intricate, in where you are supposed to break to the beats, normally people dont even know that means, so yea all they see is people headspinning or w/e. Some People don't understand the true meaning of bboy... You don't have to wow a crowd with halos, windmills or any other power moves, though it is crazy to watch!!!, nonetheless power moves are limited when it comes to creativity, well at least that's what I assume, I could be wrong. This all bboy performance was hella crazy to watch!! Creativity was flawless!!!

I really like how instant noodles is emphasizing flavor/style/originality instead of power/tricks in their performances, this is such an important aspect of bboying that is often neglected in a lot of breakin performances.
Their dancing was good. They had great style, but what they were missing was power. True, power is not the only part of bboying, but these guys are trying to put on a performance, and to have a good bboy performance, you need the "wow" factor.
I'm gonna go to the store and get noodles, when i come back this better be top comment!

@ILoveEmilee lol IN doesnt look anything like quest, seeing how quest is a mix of choreo and stunts. poreotics is a group that only used tutting/isos with a trick here and there, which is nothing like jabbawockeez or quest :P

Maybe individually, but as a crew, Instant noodles would be better. Most bboy crews show off the tricks and power moves in there performances. Instant noodles are based off style and musicality which judges look at and then some aha.

they re good but there some powermoves and funk missed. those dudes were more good at handstand and headstand and floor transitions.
Their execution were clean but easy and a little average in the bboy scene

@larry0371crew For three reasons. #1 - World of Dance is a pretty big event with a lot of exposure. #2 - Only one crew (or 2 if your country has the previous year's winner) qualifies to go to BoTY. #3 - BoTY has much more appeal outside the US. It's not as big of a deal here.

If you think this is boring then you dont know what breaking really is. Breaking is more then just flips, flares and headspins. You cant will a battle only doing powermoves. Gymnasts could do flares and i bet most of them cant dance.
This crew has their own unique style that i havnt seen any crew do. Which makes them one of my fave.

Instant noodle is dope to bboy fans, just like how justin bieber has his litle fan girls. lmfao jk, but whatever you do of course u appreciate more vs someone who really has no idea whats going on. Bboying is actually very intricate, in where you are supposed to break to the beats, normally people dont even know that means, so yea all they see is people headspinning or w/e. Some People don't understand the true meaning of bboy... You don't have to wow a crowd with halos, windmills or any other power moves, though it is crazy to watch!!!, nonetheless power moves are limited when it comes to creativity, well at least that's what I assume, I could be wrong. This all bboy performance was hella crazy to watch!! Creativity was flawless!!!

I really like how instant noodles is emphasizing flavor/style/originality instead of power/tricks in their performances, this is such an important aspect of bboying that is often neglected in a lot of breakin performances.

Their dancing was good. They had great style, but what they were missing was power. True, power is not the only part of bboying, but these guys are trying to put on a performance, and to have a good bboy performance, you need the "wow" factor.
