  • wow thanks man

  • best UVW Unwrapping tips i've heard in a long time :) thnx

  • wow thanks a lot o_O I feel so stupid now for always doing stitch selected xD

  • Wait, one thing: there IS a shortcut for stitch selected. It's not default, but you can set it in the 3dsmax options! It helped me alot.

  • Awesome ;) but bet you already knew that :D

  • Is it possible to unwrap a cylinder piece like the arm, and use the spline technique (by detaching the arm, cloning it, resize, etc...) ? or is the pelt just more efficient ?

  • Thanks a LOT

  • Great tutorial. Thank you very much, the best tutorial I have seen on unwrapping yet.

  • Awesome videos! Best on the net!

  • cheers :)

  • An excellent tutorial on using the unwrap, no waffle, straight into the meat of the subject, as a video tutorial should.

One of the best I've seen on the subject, many thanks.

  • To stich edges on the uv modifier, I recommend you get a script called smart stich. That way you wont need to scale, try and see if it fits, scale again, and try again, etc. That script will auto scale your other edge to fit the selection.

  • Thank you.

  • Great tips series. Thanks for posting all of them!

  • Thanks mike that made alot more sense than what i did. now i need to redo my foal (baby horse) =P

  • Thank you very much, I agree with previous comments it's the most incisive tutorial for intermediate to advanced users yet. They have helped me enormously!!!

  • Thanks man, by far the most useful of all the max tutorials i have seen, the series is a goldmine for anyone who has been using max for a while, the tips and tricks you have shown will no doubt help to make life easier for max users and improve their workflow, with better results for all involved.
