Most interesting to hear "The Master", working to get exactly what he wanted. Unfiltered and unrefined, yet in it's purest form, MAGNIFICENT !!!
Listening to this is akin to sitting at the feet of a Holy Man, giving advice freely and asking for nothing in return... We have been blessed to have recordings of Jimi in the many stages of his musical life.
I love the way Jimi never seemed to settle for the conventional chord progression that we mere mortals might go for in writing a song. That's another part of his genius.
@Kevra777 That's the beginnings album, House of the rising sun,Hey Leroy,Let the God Sing, Free Spirit,Something you got baby, She's a fox. Album was released under different names. Free Spirit, Beginnings and one or two other names.
This is in "Acoustic jams", an unreleased album with only studio takes. The real drifting song from the cry of love, not remastered is in there too, no lead guitar and dirty sound.
in the book "inside the experience" by mitch mitchel, he (mitchel) believed there was a conspiracy and that jimi`s death was no accident. you may say "what does he know?"-he was only jimi`s best friend and drummer throughout (minus the short band of gypsies time) study the facts but nobody will ever know for sure.
Ass Argument below please enjoy the song folks and try to imagine yourself drifting on a peice of puple silk float thru a space like lake in an alien world looking at the wonderful colors that fill the alien atmosper stars fill the sky ,violets and blues every were just. DRIFTING
@universalmanchild Um, no he was not! Why would you want to trouble your soul by believing that? Why would ANYONE believe that when the simplest explanation for his death is the truth. His death was a tragic accident, a combination of many factors that came together at the wrong time. If any one of those factors did not happen, he would not have died when he did. What is sad though, if he survived and didn't change his ways, it was only a matter of time anyways...
@universalmanchild Me and everyone else that doesn't smoke weed all day, that possess the capacity to look at evidence and come to the most logical conclusion. It is sick to want to believe this great man of peace was murdered in the most horrific way when the simple truth says it was a tragic accident. Then to curse and get angry at those that don't buy the conspiracy is disturbing. Let the Man rest in Peace, and let your own soul rest while you live. Geez...
@universalmanchild Never said you did, tough guy! So many other like-minded conspiracy nuts do. Think about it: Why the hell are you resorting to cursing someone you do not know because he doesn't think Jimi was murdered? Something is seriously twisted. I would almost understand why better if you did smoke weed. That might explain it.... universal manchild...uh-huh....sounds about right...Time to grow up...
@universalmanchild Ok, you drop the f-bombs and it ME that needs to get over it? I didn't "message" you, only replied. Then YOU started the hateful attacks. Believe me, there is nothing to get over concerning you. Foul-mouth fools are easily dismissed...
@lewars1912 on which album? is it "cry of love"? i heard the album was mixed by other people (they dont even knew hendrix)and not hendrix himself... so i dont want to listen to it actually :P
@kimmedavid >It was first on The Cry of Love, and is now on First Rays of the New Rising Sun. Both were mixed by Eddie Kramer who engineered all of Jimi's four major album releases when Jimi was alive and who worked closely with Jimi. The track is as close as is feasible to how Jimi would have wanted it. Jimi hadn't made up his mind about the vibraphone. He may have changed that and added another guitar track. This version I'm talking about has been uploaded by kylerober242. Check it out.
@kimmedavid You're lucky that you've found this DotCom where you can hide your arse. Is that just available in Germany or do they have it here in the UK?
@kimmedavid I've since heard that "hidemyassDotCom" isn't available in Germany at all. It's only available in China and they're only able to watch videos of Chinese girls playing the tin whistle. Hendrix seems to be banned there but a lot of Chinese are really into the tin whistle. Lovely instrument.
@lewars1912 well its an normal internet site ,i can go to every internet site from germany ^^ and what do you mean with chinese girls playing the tin whistle? my english isnt that good!
@kimmedavid I think your English is fine. I wasn't meaning anything about Chinese girls playing the tin whistle.
It's just that a lot of Chinese men get turned on by watching Chinese girls playing them. Either the tin whistle or the bagpipes. It depends on what the weather's like.
back in the 1980s owned a rare Hendrix bootleg, white cover, nothing on it, and green plastic. It was repeated versions of the start of Voodoo Chile. But it also had Hear my Train, and Hound Dog. Had other rare Hendricx Exp as well.
Read Noel Redding's & Carol Appleby's book " Are You Experienced". There you will find all the nasty shit the Experience had to contend with. What is portrayed on you tube is a fantasy.
@COMMUNISTPHILOSOPHY You´re right man! I was in total disgust after reading what they had to accept. That poor man Noel Redding...one of the most lovable persons ever didn´t get shit after being an important part of music history. In many ways he defined that Experience sound...he was no less part of it than Mitchell. He was robbed...my view.
@MB280E Have you read "Are you Experienced", im guessing you have. Yes, what is portrayed on you tube is usually fantasy, it's not real. That book is a reality check. many keep calling Hendrix a "God", there's a danger to think of these stars as being super-human, and of course they are not. Noel stated somewhere in his and Carol Appleby's book that problems started to arise when they toured the USA, when tour posters used "Jimi Hendrix" instead of "Jimi Hendrix Experience".
@COMMUNISTPHILOSOPHY Yes, I have read that book, it was a good one though the story was rather sad. I feel that Noel Redding has gotten a lot less resepct than he is entitled to. Of course Hendrix got a bit bigheaded after being the one getting all focus. IMO Redding contrubuted a lot more to the sound of the Experience than we´re all lead to think. What happend couldn´t be described as less than an artistic robbery in total daylight. He should have gotten a larger part of the cake
@MB280E correct. way back in the early 1990s, our bassist got a call, Noel's band "Shut Up frank" was doing a gig (in new zealand) and Noel needed a Fender jazz bass. Our bassist had that kind of bass. So he lent it to Noel for the gig and got in free etc. Got a few LPs signed
back in the 1980s owned a rare Hendrix bootleg, white cover, nothing on it, and green plastic. It was repeated versions of the start of Voodoo Chile. But it also had Hear my Train, and Hound Dog. Had other rare Hendricx Exp as well.
I wonder if Jimi would of liked the fact that we hear a lot of his stuff that was just rehearsal or working out songs in the studio. I heard he was a real perfectionist in the studio. The stuff we hear from him posthumously from him he may never have wanted released because it contained some mistakes or sloppy playing.
@ocean4315 yes he was a perfectionist in studio, of course he was, he was a musical genius... and because of that even his unfinished stuff or his jams are fucking awesome and much better then the overproduced crap that comes out today ! im pretty happy that we have so much jams from him ... or different takes from his songs

I love this raw stuff. It really gives you an insight to where the artists head was at. Awesome.
