  • I admire her gumption, but she is the liar. The earmarks described WERE proposed in the stimulus bill then removed. I SAW it! Also, the train WAS proposed as being tax payer funded. That has since died out. Las Vegas the the vacation capital of the world. If the government would stop raping the hotels in taxes that money could be put into improving downtrodden areas or offering customers lower room rates to increase tourism. We'd be better off if goverment would stop enslaving us!

  • It is about time someone spoke out about the idiots, and it started with our President. I have not heard him come out and say anything positive, as he is the one who started this stupid crap. I did not hear the President sy anything about not holding a convention in Chicago. As a business person who has traveled all over the world for meetings, Las Vegas is hands down the best place in the world to hold meetings. No other p[ace can accomadate like Las Vegas..   • here here. i'd love for them to bash a city of 2 million in the deep south. laugh at a sustainable las vegas? i think every major city in america should work towards being sustainable and vegas should be applauded for taking the meausres towards that goal. train to las vegas to disneyland? How bout an efficient link between las vegas and largest metroplitan area in the country. liars! keep calling out these idiots!
