Go to the Wikipedia page for Gamecube and look under hardware. Dolphin was the codename. You can even look at the model numbers on the GC and its controllers to see stuff like "DOL-001". Ninty has been using codenames as model numbers for years.

I have a Wii and a GC. I always wanted Pikmin for the GC but I couldn't find it in a shop, like 3 years ago. Now they're releasing GC as Wii games (New Play Control) I got Pikmin 1 NPC. I'm also going to get Pikmin 2 NPC and Pikmin 3 when it comes out. IMO, get all Pikmin things!

pikmin 2 is way better than pikmin 1, the days pass slower, the monsters are stronger, more pikmin and characters, bridges and walls are easier to brake down etc.
