Tom quit the band because he no longer wants to associate himself with an attention whore like Mark. If Mark hadn't cried like a child over Boxcar Racer, Tom should've stayed. See Plus 44's interview on TRL with Shane, on Buzznet (Picture stealers and bitches), where Shane talked about his injured fingers. Mark interrupted Shane with that CSI comment and I couldn't get what Shane said on the last part. No wonder Tom walked away.
