How did you fit these videos on any normal hard drive? The original (I'm guessing) must have been upwards of 40 gigabytes?

hmm, yeah I think that sounds about right. I have a new external hard drive I bought recently that has a few hundred gigs, plus I've been deleting all the raw files after I export the compressed file and upload it to YouTube, so it's not a big problem.
