This is my all-time favorite James Brown jam. They treated this song fantastically and properly. I don't think any other duo could have treated it better. Tom and D' was on point.

this was absolutely painful to watch tom jones is "black" until u put him on stage with an ACTUAL BLACK PERSON...u could see him turning red and sweating cuz he couldnt keep up................it was tooo funny..

@himthim actually it wasnt rehersead and Tom had to only sing few verses, real black? Oh yes D'Angelo is black, but so was Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, Otis Redding, and Tom sang with them, and i think they are maybe "little more talented" than one D'Angelo. And Wilson actually famously quoted that Tom Jones is the only white soul singer. Otis said, "he was the greatest soul singer" it can be found from the book. So ur comment was painful to read.

@himthim Not a Tom Jones fan and usually stick to the 'black music' genre - but I think your comments are unfair. Credit where credits due. Tom did an entertaining and quite good offering - baring in mind that he must have known how much D'Angelo street cred had.

@himthim To be fair to Tom, he has changed his style of music and moved with the times and been pretty sucessful at it, so for that you gotta give him some respect. Anyway if it was OK for D'Angelo - its OK by me. LOL
