you walk very well considering what you have to use - i was wondering if you had polio? I had polio 50 years ago and have always had to wear braces from the chest down ever since - but I was never as good at walking as you are - well done!
@susancish Hi and thanks for the comment. =) I do not have polio nor did I ever have it. I used a wheelchair and braces/crutches because of a spinal cord injury.
Haha, you're going fast as hell on the crutches. Just a question, do you enjoy your crutches? Like do you feel as if you have increased mobility? I know they can be a pain, I'm not disabled, but have been on crutches the last four months from multiple tibia breaks. Thanks for reading :)
@niggaplease1219 Hoooo, boy. No. I don't really enjoy being in/using my braces. They are a pain in the butt. However, I realize that they are helpful in terms of maintaining a health body, so that is why I still use them.
I have heard of a lift but over here I think it usually refers to an internal wedge in the footwear, apparently some people wear them just to be taller!
You are so awesome! I have been watching your videos and am completely blown away. I stummbled on to them looking for something else, all I can say is WOW! I am a Student Physical Therapist Assistant and I hope I can one day help someone to be able to live as well as you seem to be with your paraplegia.
@Wheelz The guy who talks in the video is right, you do look good from behind ;)
I help out at the riding for the disabled club near where I live. I showed one of the boys who attends some of your videos and the comments you have received as he had been feeling pretty down about his wheelchair recently and just wasn't himself. He loved them an went home and watched more!! I've even started seeing his cheeky personality coming through again. I promised I'd mention him in the next comment I poste
Wow, you are really cruising along! Even with your good upper body strength, I bet it gets pretty tiring. I assume you've got special braces on so you can be supported on your legs? In any case, I am impressed - keep up the great work!
Oh BTW - would you please stay out of the middle of the road with your forays? While you are nothing to write home about, you are still my dear youtube Wheelz friend. (LOL) Would not want to lose you from an itinerant speeding auto. Jeez! What is it with you super-crips?
@anthonykingatl (I stay in the middle because the sides of the road are tilted and it makes walking more difficult.) People can drive around me. *struts*

@ Wheelz - forgive me for offering an opinion on something for which I know nothing - but I think your crutches are too long. Wouldn't it be a lot easier to crutch if your arms were straight against your body. At any rate - you go my friend! PS - is there anything you can't do? Just curious.
@anthonykingatl It is very possible that I have "bad form" in terms of using my crutches as it has been a long long time since I had any supervised physical therapy.
Brilliant walking......you should be in the Olympic Gold crutchwalkers' marathon! What a super neighbourhood too (see my Brit spelling there - haha!). Love your cool built-up boot - great there with your hip-hop pants! What a looker you are!
AMAZING How well you manage Swinging thorugh with both legs is exhausting work I rarely do it I am lucky I can mange to swing one leg at a time and I only have kafo's Does not the back part of your brace rub you ? You can see your torso moving up and don in it and like me you look as though you find it more difficult walking on grass You are to admired
@ij0511 No doubt. It is definitely harder to walk on grass. I was being extra careful, which slowed me down even more, because there are a lot of divots on my lawn.
will you ever be able to get surgery to fix it? u r amazing but i just feel bad for you :( please respond

@cream981 As far as I know, there is no type of surgery that would fix the issue at this point.
