@LithuanianGuitar oh i'm dead serious. I don't mean to offend anyone who competed, but ur solo is melodic and it's not just scales being played at lightning fast speed. All the other entries, as good as they are, just didn't have a strong sense of melody. their techniques are insane and almost flawless, but u have a durable melody. good luck to u and to all who are competing :)

In my opinion, all guitarists play very good technically, but, just a few of guitarists play good with feelings, i found just a few of good solos with feelings, one of them is Silvio Gasquez, in the other solos i see and listen just, sequences like practice or from other songs, scales and it is very boring to listen, there are not stories in the solos, and the solo is like a story (with beginning and end), is not improvisation.

Dhalif is an awesome player, but I'm not thrilled with your mechanic solo.

Silvio Gasquez, great solo, but he used a few sentences to fill the void.

Now, Hara Lemes composed a song with that backing track!!!
