This pisses me off. They talk about how wonderful Hammond is b/c of its "rural" charm and clean air. But then they go on to boast about all this growth and development of shopping malls, acres of expansion by the airport(which used to be woods by the way). What they fail to mention is that Hammond is cutting down all its trees and greenspace to make this growth happen. What do they think is gonna happen to all that clean air and quaint country setting as the pop. expands? Hammond- watch yo'self!
