Elevate a flat bench on a box or step to make it an incline bench.
For push ups do them on push up handles, a lot of sporting goods stores carry push up handles, or you can even use Hex Shaped dumbbells as push up handles. This will be more comfortable on your wrists.
Generally, most guys will be able to barbell bench press more then they can dumbbell bench press. So you could probably bench more then 200 pounds with a barbell. But again the actual carry over you get will vary for everyone.

@Restuna14 Believe it or not, it's the fat in your belly that is causing the man boobs to a large degree. Belly fat produces the female hormone, estrogen, the more belly fay, the more estrogen. So, like the man says, it's about losing weight, chest exercises alone will do very, very little for you.
Try going faster and see how it feels. I personally believe that you should lift as fast as you can while maintaining proper exercise form. This will place maximum stress on the muscles and stimulate the most growth.

The main thing to focus on is your diet, you need to make sure you consume more calories then you burn off in order to keep your body in a caloric surplus to grow from.
@DHurley21 diet is your main consideration, that should always be your first priority, but when it comes to taking supplements, remember they are supplements and not complete meals unless you do what i do add fruit, oats, lsa etc etc. two i recommend simply because they have the lowest sugar and fat levels which will just add fat not muscle mass, are International Protein, (its from australia) but u might be able to get it overseas. its extremely high quality protein or inner armour mass peak
whoah dude im only 13 n i never actually did a chest workout before. i was doing this with 5kg weights yesterday and my whole chest is soo sore.. am i going to be ok? its the same with my triceps and biceps, theyre all sore.. my forearms are fine cuz im used to it since i play tennis and use wristband weights on my forearms wen i play matches. how long does it take for me to build up some muscle/strength
I like this excercise for the chest much better than the standard bar bench press as you get more range of motion and really get the chest to stretch for more muscular development.
Hey lee..wondering do you have any problem with getting stretch marks when you do flys, mine get bigger each week...it looks like if been stabed. Any suggestions?
If you're about to fail on a rep, and can't seem to get the dbs to a good point to get them out of your arms, what the best way to drop them without injury? (kind of like the bench press where you lean to the side to drop the bar)...(no spotter)
Really like this workout. Was getting bored of my old routine and my body wasn't responding to it aswell as it used to. So have started adding some variation from these videos. Much easier to see it done and explained at the same time. Thanks Lee!

THAT there my friend is why you haven't gained any mass....Assuming that your workout lasts for 2 hours and you do full body....you'd hardly get any time to work any of your body parts effectively to stimulate muscle growth...try working specific body parts on alternate days...working one part of they body per day...like chest and triceps on one day...biceps and back on another etc....
full body training doesnt give results? ever heard of 5x5 or HST training? Reg park? Steve reeves? Did you know that arnold himself used fullbody workouts until he decided to take roids and become a pro bodybuilder? The type of fullbody training you are thinking of (and most uninformed people try to do) is definetly not the kind that gives results, which is why most people resort to splits. for the record, fullbody works great if you know what your doing.
Yep, when I started working out I was about 135 pounds and that was soaking wet, before a hair cut, after eating a big meal, and before a bowel movement LOL
I have a question. What part of the chest do decline presses target? Also, is there any "trick" I could use so that I'm not damaging my shoulder when trying to reach for the weights, if I don't have a spotter?

Generally, most guys will be able to barbell bench press more then they can dumbbell bench press. So you could probably bench more then 200 pounds with a barbell. But again the actual carry over you get will vary for everyone.

How fast Pushups should be performed? I do them slower than shown in the video and I can do 3 sets of 13 reps. Should I do pushups at a faster speed?
