  • I bet your bush is as thick as a rain forest. JESUS!

  • That's way cool Lindsay! I think it's awesome that you share your testimony on youtube. You should start up again, it looks from your comments like people are listening and having good discussions. I don't know what you were worried about with your video when we talked, I think it's awesome- Way to be!

  • I have a question, do you read the New Testament as much as the book of Mormon? I have some friends who are Mormons and they were amazed when talking to me cause they realized they didn't know half of what's in the Bible. I felt so bad for them! It was sad to see their eyes wide opened when they discovered what the Word of God says in the New Testament. I wonder why they never read it for themselves....have you?

  • ok ok ok I have a serious question.... Do Mormons poop?

  • Hey congrats, and good luck with your mission!

  • Lol, Whats Mormon or Christ? was that mans name Christ when he existed?

  • Many prophetic words have two or more meaning. These words also mean the joining together of all lost tribes of Israel in the kingdom ofgod. The revelation of John also speaks about that. In the Israel of today the inhabitants are mostly Jews. But where are the others? They have been led into the land of north. So, you are free to pray about that. Its easy: Just ask god in the name of Jesus Christ as I did, and he will answer you.

  • And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes. And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.

  • Yes, you are right. This sheep are not jews. They do not belong to the jewish fold, right. The nephites and lamanites are the progeny of the tribe of Josephs sons, ephraim and manasse. The tribes of Israel are scattered among the nations, and Jesus himself was gathering them together and is still doing that.

  • And here: "Joh 10,16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd."

That doesnt mean the other nations, because Jesus said:

Mat 15:24 "But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel."

He visited his other sheeps in america.

  • Hello 1allforhim. There are some:

Hesekiel 37:19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand. (Read the whole chapter)

A stick in this times meant a roll with papyrus. The scripturess of Judah is the bible, from ephraim is the book of Mormon.

  • I have made the experience, that we all can find out the truth about the bible, the book of mormon, about any church or religion, if we ask god personally. One of his apostles in old times wrote in the bible:

James 1: 5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."

You can learn from god. Believe in Jesus Christ, repent from your sins, get baptized and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, hold out to the end.

  • Ahwri don't hide important information on the mission about families to be polygamous in CK, about Joseph Smith using his hat and peep stone to narrate/dictate the Book Of Mormon and also The Curse of Cain Doctrine to any Negroes you meet. It would be cruel to lead them into the church only to have to hide it from them for as long as possible.

Please don't let them assume from church books that Joseph Smith was a monogomist,

Finding this out after baptism can be devasting.

  • 1) What does the exact method by which Joseph translated the Book of Mormon have to do with anything?

    2) Do you even realize that the Curse of Cain thing is completely irrelevant now?

    3) Why do you call them Negroes?

    4) I think it's safe to say that people in the U.S. know all about mormons and polygamy, even though the practice was concluded well over a century ago.

  • 1) Because the church lied and deceived me about it.

    2) You mean it was a false doctrine? Try telling that to my ward members ( the older ones) I was taught it by white American Missionaries.

    3) Negro just means black in Spanish. Whats the big deal? I'm white caucausian.

    Valiant according to LDS doctrine.

    4) Yes and NO THANKS to the Mormon church but thanks to al those who have quit and educated us all.

Its still practiced on paper in polygamous wedding sealings in the Temple.

  • 1) How did we deceive you? How does it even matter how it was done? Does it also matter whether the pearly gates swing or roll open?

    2) No, it was not false. It is merely irrelevant because, guess what, it has no bearing on how things are done. Remember, there was a black man who was given the Priesthood in the early days of the church.

    3) Why not just call them black or African-American like a normal, non-racist, politically-correct American?

  • 4) And you are wrong. We don't need to spread our reputation because non-members have always spread it among themselves. We simply educate them on the truth. You simply swallowed the pill the anti-mormons gave you and walk around with a chip on your shoulders.

And if you are referring to getting married again after your spouse dies, is that not the same sort of practice as dominates the rest of the world? Do they all engage in polygamous marriages too?

  • LDS MORMON SCRIPTURES PREACH that BLACK SKIN is A MARK & A CURSE ->

"...the Lord God did cause a skin of BLACKNESS to come upon them (Book of Mormon 2 Nephi 5:21)."

"And the skins...were DARK,according to the MARK which was set upon their fathers...which WAS A CURSE upon them...(Book of Mormon, Alma 3:6)."

"and the CURSING which hath come upon their skins...(Book of Mormon, Jacob 3:5)."

for this people...shall become a dark, a filthy, and a loathsome people, (Book of Mormon, Mormon 5:15)

  • Yes, that's right, it is a curse, a genetic pigment disorder. Look at black people's skin, it is not dark all over their bodies. Their feet and palms are light, the skin does not have much pigment there. It was said the curse would be lifted in later days, which already happened.

  • Great luck on the mission!!! That is sooo exciting :) Where are you called to serve?

  • Hey Ahwri! Lots of good luck on the mission, take care, cya when ya get back!

  • Congratulations! I hope you are able to partake of the same peace which millions of people have ^_^.

  • Are black people God's children?

  • Of couse black people are God's children, just like the rest of us.

  • So what does Dark skin mean to the LDS? Is it the same as light skin? all 100% equal?

  • A little FYI read your Book of Mormon 2Nephi 5:21; Alma 3:6 unless you repent then you become white 3 Nephi 2:15?

  • Read and leave it in context. The curse was not the darker skin. The darker skin was a mark of the curse, not the curse itself. There was a time when it was reversed and the darker skin was a mark of being God's people. That's all it was: a mark. A differentiating, distinguishing feature. Nowadays, it means absolutely nothing from a doctrinal standpoint.

Get all the facts straight, not just the ones convenient to your prejudices.

  • I shall put this simply: a lack of racism is a lack of caring what race or color you are. I do not care what color someone is, and I never have...well, unless you count being red from sunburn, then I care, but that's about it.

That is what dark skin is to the LDS. We do not care.

  • - LDS MORMON The Juvenile Instructor, Vol. 3, page 157

"We understand that when God made man in his own image and pronounced him very good, that he made him white. We have no record of any of God's favored servants being of a black race....every angel who ever brought a message of God's mercy to man was beautiful to look upon, clad in the purest white and with a countenance bright as the noonday sun."

  • Well, gee, could that have anything to do with the glory of God which surrounds these angelic visitors? Could it have some sort of symbolic significance that angelic visitors are clad in white, as the color still has among many, many cultures? Could it be that none of God's favored servants of past ages were black simply because they didn't have the gospel at the time? And could it possibly be that the color of our skin is not the color of our spirits?

  • "Could it be that none of God's favored servants of past ages were black simply because they didn't have the gospel at the time?"

    How do you know?

Thats very presumptious of you and shows MORMON influence on your thinking.

Martin Luther King was Black and he helped change your church's temple ban !

Your church was out of touch with reality as it always has been.

  • PAST ages, not CURRENT age. And follow the timeline. From at least the days of Abraham until the current dispensation, the ethnicity of God's chosen people (which does not make them better, it gives them greater responsibility) were not charcoal-black.

And what's the definition of favored servant, hmmm? Could it possibly mean "prophet called of God" which I have never heard of a black man claiming to be?

  • Well Jesus was God's son, and he was white, supposedly... So God's children are white people.

  • Now that is something I never thought I'd hear. "Jesus was white so God's children are only white." Not true, of course, but that's a new one.

  • So are you saying Jesus wasn't God's son and he wasn't white?

  • No, Jesus was the Son of God, the Only Begotten in the flesh, and he was white. But that doesn't make anyone who is not white something besides a child of God. He is father to all of us, the creator of our spirits and the maker of our bodies.

  • Oh shut the fuck up with that white Jesus crap! Jesus was not white... He was a man of color, either "black"/"arab" or a "black arab". Have you ever seen a world map? That region where he was born was not occupied by whites until after the Jews came and started killing off the Palestinians. FUCK WHITE JESUS! AND FUCK YOU!

  • Oh please, he was not an african. He was a Jew, plain and simple.

  • Did I say he was? No, I said he wasn't white. Now just because present day "Jews" are white does not mean the original Jews were white... In fact those "Jews" are descendants of converts, not the real Jews. So why you're sitting in your home supporting Israel recognize how those people are obtaining that land. Through mass genocide, brutal terror, and genuine slaughter. All of the shit they say their people experienced in the Holocaust.

  • So first you hate whites, then you hate Jesus, then you hate Jews, is there anyone you don't hate?

  • Don't make such erroneous assumptions. You stupid feeble minded ignoramus, why avoid the truth? Jesus was not a white man. In fact, his name wasn't even Jesus, that's a name the Greeks(white people) bestowed on him... His real name is Yahsheweh or something of similarity. So fuck off with your Jesus and God being white crap.

  • Well, you seem to spend all your time and effort hating everyone you talk about. Jesus might not have have been milky-white, but he was not black like an african, which is my definition of a black person. Arabs might be slightly darker skinned, but they are not black. And hey, his name might not have been literally Jesus, but the meaning is the same. And what does it matter what skin color he was while mortal? Your argument is supremely childish, absolutely infantile, and completely crude.

  • Black like an African? Iman Bowie is an African, is she not black? Are you stupid? You guys go supremely far to describe a black person under one base: Coarse hair, wide nose, big lips, dark skin. This is an absurdity as Africans range in many different features are more diverse than all other continents. Your definition of a black person is mundane and inaccurate. Yes it does matter, and if it doesn't, WHY DISPLAY HIM AS A WHITE MAN ALL OVER THE WORLD? Your rhetoric is as such, fallacious.

  • So your definition of black is anything besides pasty-white? Here I thought only black was black.

One of my friends, a Jew, might be a little tan, perhaps, but he was definitely fair-skinned, much more white than black. Arabs are not black, Jews are not black, Jesus was not black. You say his skin color matters, the way racists do, so I ask you: why does it matter whether he was white, black, red, gold, blue, or any other color? He is our Savior, that's what matters.

  • Don't infer especially when you have a brain like you do. The results aren't good. Soooo? Did I say Jesus was black? No. Why does it matter really? Why display him as a white man if the shit doesn't matter? White Jesus, God, Jesus, any fallacious inhumane child figure is not my savior. I'd pray to Santa Clause before I'd pray to Jesus.

  • Thanks Ahwri, Hope you have a great mission. Also wanted to tell you that I have a tentative date to be baptized into the Church. March 29th. I am really excited. Thanks

  • Just curious, how is someone baptized into a church? One thing is clear, the Bible always places believing in Christ for salvation and baptism together.

Galatians 3:27 - We put on Christ when we are baptized.

Just make sure you are being baptised into Jesus, the correct Jesus (Mark 13:6; 21-22)

    Also read 2 Corinthians 11:3,4; 13-15.

    God Bless!

  • Matthew 7:15-20

I'm not sure I understand your question about "how" someone is baptized into a church, but I agree, the Bible does speak of faith in Christ and baptism as intertwining. We have that in common.

    Take care, friend! God bless!

  • I am being baptized and becoming a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. As far as the aspect of the "correct", Jesus...there is only one. Thanks

  • I am happy that you feel you are following God will, but I am asking that you read the Bible and seek the truth in God and who Jesus is! God was not once a man like us and we cannot be a God. Jesus is not the brother of satan and we are not the same as them. These are just a few very scary views on who God and Jesus are.

Read the Bible for the truth!

  • Romans 8:16-17

As children of God we are joint-heirs with Christ.

    Galatians 4:6-7

As sons of God, we are heirs through Jesus Christ.

    Isaiah 14:12

Lucifer fell from heaven, which means he was in heaven in the first place.

If God is not and was not ever a man, then why did Christ keep calling himself the Son of Man?

I mean no offense by any of this, but we DO read the Bible. Do you?

  • You really need to read your Bible in context, if you read all of Romans 8 you well see Paul is talking about our adoption. We enjoy certain assurances because God adopted us into His family.

As for Lucifer, he was an angelic being who turned on God and was cast out of heaven. We are not angelic beings we are man, Gods creation as man not angels.

  • What do you think angels are? What do you think Christ is?

  • And yes, you are correct, we do need to read the scriptures in context. Such as Romans 8, where Pauls speaks of us being becoming joint-heirs of God through and alongside Christ.

  • Congrats! That is very cool!
