  • Probably the best song ever.

    Probably.

  • 'if hooks could kill?' what a lyric! incredible. amazing track. thanks for posting x

  • Not even in the ballpark compared to the 80s period with Gamson which was like the finest crystal.

  • @jonsilence This is only one of the greatest songs ever. From one of the most brilliant albums ever made.

Loved the 80's period of Scritti..But man if you missed this album. You need to get it together NOW. Or...

Ill wait till december baby Ill wait till my hands stay stillI and then in december baby Im in for the cure or kill, I love you still I always will...

  • I forgot how good he is

  • In Ireland a "bap" is a somewhat tasteless bun.

  • beautiful production

  • amazing... this really sounds nothing like their 80's music and I thank god for that... how many bands sound the same their whole career? many I am afraid. You know Green knew people wouldn't like this and he probably said "who gives a f***" or he may have said that more artfully than I just did.

  • Piss

  • i love you still i always will, song to get to your heart.

  • still thinking 0f good news,im an idiot for thinking of him,he was kinda nice for a while,i love you still i always will, gets to me,what a song

  • great melody

  • rock on Green this is pure magic

  • reminds me of a french frieind who i miss

  • I'm, not a giant fan of hip hop, but this tune speaks to me very purely and personally. Godspeed Green, my life coach.

  • DM (The singles 81-85).

"..There's a lot to be learned

And you learn when your heart gets burned".

"On ne voit bien qu'avec le coeur. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux."

    regards

  • hi im asking again, what is that?please answer me,is it some kind of engine, its doing my head in,tell me please tar xx

  • hey yes what is it?!!!

  • Well it's surely a mix of a heart and an engine.

    cheers

  • oh what a sweet thing to say,ive just been told its a motorbike engine, shouldve asked my boyfriend sooner duh!!

  • ... but would your boyfriend be really interested about discoursing on a peacemaker especially fitted for an elephant rib cage ?..

    maybe not i'm afraid (:>).

    cheers.

  • Oups !.

Martin Gore (Depeche Mode) found out a good explanation to your question :

"There's something beating here inside my body and it's called a heart.

You know how easy it is to tear it apart

If i lend it to you, would you keep it safe for him.

I will lend it to you, will you treat it tenderly

There's something beating here inside my body and it's called a heart"

    (1985).

  • which song is that?plese

  • ok fragensteller56,ive seen this contraption for so long, what is it please!!!

  • This is not a joke! I actually find that a little offensive as a Hip Hop fan. The song is an ode to the early boom bap style rap. At the end of the song he lists the tracks of RUN DMC's album. I still love you means he still loves rap music. Pure genius! Wonderfully done. None of the lyrics are nonsense.

  • @bricksitty

Completely agree! Took me a while to get it mind. I love his pop/hip hop album anomie bonamie. No one else could have made such an amazing blend of both styles that sounds neither false nor like anything else ever made.

  • I love this song :)

  • Is this supposed to be funny? It certainly is ridiculous, so I could see the humor in that. I enjoy the nonsense lyrics.

  • I love you still

    I always will

  • Ducati???

  • Ducati?????

  • This is not my Politti...

  • Rather, this isn't your father's Scritti Politti.

Evolution is the hallmark of a true artist.

It can't all sound like "Perfect Way."

(...my favourite pop song of all time)

May Green continue to challenge us.

  • I LOVE Scritti Politti!!!!!!!

  • green is a beast

  • Hi, it´s on their last album, which came out, one or two years ago, greetings from Berlin

  • ???

Now that is a truly avant-garde video

    !!!

  • A tapa tap tap.

  • Precision engineering..like his voice
