I like this ending ... I think. I dunno. I just think, after playing a game for so long and especially since it's an amazing game with awesome plot and gameplay, I just don't think I would be happy without a happy ending. I know a sadder ending is more memorable, I think I prefer the whole "saving your sister and the sun rises" because it makes the ending more epic and like "I've just literally gone through worse than hell I don't think I'd come if it was sad"
i think because too many players had say tht they want a gd ending with "Fatal Frame" so the company had introduce this ending in X-BOX but the company actually wanted all the "Fatal Frame" series to be a sad ending which i think in a way is more memorable...

I wish it was the real one XD ah, my mother played FF2 before and when I was baout to I lost the disk to it..can someone explain to me WHY the twins had to do the rituals? like in the first one it was all to seal a hell gate but I don't know the purpose of their sacrifices in this one X__X
"Fatal frame", any of the games! They are all good but the way they put togheter the endings is not good, in my opinion a game whit multiple endings should have athleast 1 realy good ending you hafto fight for. Thats why i like the XBOX version of "Fatal frame 2" more, it got a good ending to work hard for.
I love this ending. I felt so sad and angry when I tried hard to the end and found out that, instead of saving her out as my original intent, I ended up strangling her myself. WTH...T_T
確かに条件付でこのEDが見れるようにしてあっても良かったんじゃないかとは思う。
しかし、悲しすぎる結末だけど赤い蝶EDはありだと思う。

なんだこれ！ハッピーエンドバージョン？PS2のは・・・２度とやるか！って思わせるエンディングだったのに・・・零シリーズで唯一嫌いなのがPS2の紅い蝶・・・
こんなエンディングならまたやりたい・・・

マジです。
無印をプレイすればわかりますが、結婚して宗方姓になった黒澤八重が怨霊として登場します。
黒澤姉妹と天倉姉妹...外見が似てるから紛らわしいですー(汗)。
ご存知の方も多いと思いますが、紅い蝶のリメイク版がWiiで2011年発売予定ですねー。
ぜひとも、Wiiでこのエンディングも入れて欲しいですね。

八重さんと宗方氏の子孫は無印と３に登場した雛咲深紅ですよ。
八重→美琴→深雪→深紅と真冬と続き、深紅と真冬は紗重とも血縁関係があります。
繭と澪が八重と紗重に似てるので混乱しがちですが...。
ちなみに黒澤姉妹が生まれた頃は、後に産まれた八重が姉、先に産まれた紗重が妹でした。
現在では当然順番は逆になります。

このＥＤは、沙重も、八重も、澪も、繭も、そして皆神村全てもが救われるＥＤですね。お互いを勘違いしあってた八重と沙重。八重は、お姉ちゃんとずっと一緒にいたい気持ち、一方沙重は、八重においていかれた。八重は私のそばにいてくれない。しかし、その縺れが解けたとき、２人は１つになれた。「紅い蝶」に。
皆神村の儀式・・・・『紅贄祭』決して許されない儀式。澪と繭の世界には存在しない儀式。
その儀式を体感した澪と繭は、お互いに助け合い別々に死んだとしてもいつまでも一緒にいようと誓った。

涙腺崩壊フラグですね、はい。
次回作に繋がらないのは分る・・・けど、姉妹がこんな形で離れ離れってやだよ・・・。
僕も姉ちゃんいるけど、双子じゃないけども・・・澪と繭みたいに仲良くもない、でも、絶対公式ＥＤみたいな別れ方は嫌だな・・・。自分だけ生きてるなんて絶対無理だから・・・。
このＥＤがあって本当に良かったって思う・・・

I just played this game of PS2. This ending is better because the sisters look happy. Any endings of PS2 were not happy after all.

i cryed with both ps2 endings and i was very angry that a couldn't get a happy ending in the end!!!!!!
the closest thing to a happy ending was the nightmare ending, but Mio ends up blind...
