  • I need that for my truck : )

  • Overpriced sell to governments

  • 1:12 pro blending in. -.-

  • U damn right, but while GI got their faces painted, gooks walked around in black pajamas, spat on camo. My point is - do not overestimate or overrate camo- especially that one surrealistic and absurd one

  • Just amazing! from what i hear that IFV is the best in the World. Goes thru snow like nobodys business and is extremely reliable compared to other IFVs

  • Camo Index 100%

  • it looks like a tank shaped shit pile

  • First HE explosive in vicinity will tear this clown bullshit linen out. First infantryman got entangled while riding atop will be the end of THAT circus

  • @MrCasspir Back when i was in the jungle camouflage was the name of the game. We thru it on everything. Put war paint on our faces . Now its comming back, What goes around comes around.

  • wow it makes your tank look like a tank

  • well great... now just carry one of every shade of green, brown, grey, any other colour you need to blend in to and your all set.

  • Background, Fractal, Filter. Without these three in the correct layered combination to create a uniform specular reflectance index, you are never going to be able to remain undetected.

Given the mass of the vehicle will have a direct effect on both thermal and MMW 'temperature' fractions, any two or three (multi or hyperspectral) system will be able to discriminate with ease.

  • yoy weed mountain with a 120 millimeter gun

  • its only weakness is an lone enemy soldiers vision

    leave to the british

  • looks like my hedges grew turrets

  • ohhhhh!my blind uncle said that he saw a green tank!

  • Yay, go Sweden!

  • i should get some MCS so im always a step ahead of MY enemies...

  • ya no one is going to see a tank shaped bush moving 60 hours an hour

  • Can it make a moving vehicle completely invisible to thermal sights or thermographic cameras?

    If not, then it's useless.

  • some one didnt clean the trucks. nice way to play it off army -__-

  • Hey guys, I think I spot an enemy camp up ahead, there's some scrimnetting over a shelter!

    *BOOM*

    Shit! where'd that come from?!

  • and an Advanced Mobile Peacemaker Systems?

  • Excellent idea, if you want your green tank to look like a green tank.

  • no senses in the world will be able to see the object...except my fucking eyes.

  • 0:38 - Near invisible no matter how sophisticated their attack equipment is, so super effective it even fools IR!

  • LOL wtf :D:D Camouflage should break the shape of the object :D But this is like a bodyhugging nightgown.. :D "Near invisible objects" my ass :D

  • Guy wearing face-paint inside tank? SUPER CAMO!!!

  • Pause at 1:12, see if you can spot the near-invisible tank!!!

  • oh look its the green giants car from the corn can

  • 1:59 so that means its also invisable to the camera thats looking at it right there?

I dont think its working then.

  • why did a helicopter blow up randomly?

  • Enemy:Oh thats just a bush shotting rockets at our team mate and going 60 miles per hour on the battlefield.its nothing we dont have to shoot at it :) (they blow up)

  • LOL polish a turd its still a turn so cover up a tank its still a freakin huge easy to stop tank :D

  • 1:11 Where did it go?!

  • If you guys knew half as much as you think you do you'd realize how well camo can work. I bet that you wouldn't notice it if it were parked like that across a field. Don't believe me, look at the German tank destroyers of WW2. They hid in tree lines and our guys unfortunately never saw them even after they fired off a couple of rounds. Or ask anyone who hunts. Granted going 50 miles and kicking up dust you will get noticed; but if they can't get a lock on you then it's pretty well worth it

  • maybe they think the tanks cold and needed a jacket

  • jim:hey bill i can hear a big rawing sound? bill:ye sounds like a tank jim HEY THAT BUSH IS MOVING 80MPH! bill:calm down all off our windows 1994 technology says its a moving bush with a big log coming out the front and sound like a tank pfft silly jim

  • Tanks with Gillie suits. Whats next? Soldiers with chabom armor?

  • @EichEiEmIhEs That would be... heavy. :P

  • @Fros7bite yah well i thought that Tanks were taking something from the infantry so they need to give something back :)).

  • Look there's a big bush followed by a big dust cloud running towards us at 50mph with some pretty good light show.

  • It´s not a Leopard 2 its a Stridsfordon 90. And we Swedes rocks! We can do Stealthmaterial and weapons.

  • its a fukin tank. why do u need camo?

  • @Kronik141 forget about anything and everything

what about the tanks engine ...YOU CAN HEAR IT MILES AWAY WTF!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ghillie Tanks... we're fucked now

  • @SoftwareForFree forget about anything and everything

what about the tanks engine ...YOU CAN HEAR IT MILES AWAY WTF!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Soldiers:cool it's hidden now,let's go get some lunch

  • The smartest weapons are the ones you DON'T buy and deploy.

  • Cha-Cha-Cha-Chia! Now you can Chia your Tank!

  • You gotta admit that with this thing its less visible, but the words "nearly invisible" and "extremely difficult to detect" cmon LOL

  • I want this on my car.

  • does it fit on my car? :P

  • It makes the tank harder to see, not impossible to see. But then, nothing is impossible.

Anything that can buy you even a few seconds of safety is important on the battlefield. Camo for tanks is not a new concept. What's new here is that this camo is a fabric that can absorb and/or diffuse some of the wavelengths of light that detection and tracking sensors use. The optical pattern camo is just icing on the cake, as it were.

  • i like it

  • lol I didn't know they made ghillie suits in XXL

  • @gthebrave next is the XXL sniper... =P

  • do any of you guys actually listen to what's being said in this video? this technology isn't supposed to make the tank invisible to the naked eye but invisible to radar/thermal/etc... only the camo sheet at the end of the video is supposed to make it hard to physically see.. almost every weapon that could be a threat to a tank these days are weapons that use targeting systems (radar/thermal/etc.)..

  • looks like an insulated camouflage to hide the infrared signature.

  • now just to get rid of that FAT ASS CLOUD that is made when they move...

  • you people are retarded, 100+ feet in the air, you won't see it, and the only reason you can see it is because you know it's there, especially if it was in a thick brush.

  • @failtolawl Did U ever hear anything about thermal sights? I'm sure a helicopter gunner is not just looking out of the window.

  • only blind dont see that on eyes and blinds dont fly

  • 1:50 lol oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit lol

  • @rccathal hahaha are you high?

  • @Retpallie hehe im never not but if you look at their faces at 1:50 they look like their shitting their pants lol

  • you still can see the fucking dust unless your blind

  • lol this is fail lol

  • No fair,The shitty quality of the video makes them look better than they look.

  • UUUU very difficult to detect!!!! i can still see it....

  • Ummm i can still see it lol

  • its easily spotted with tons of dirt flying up behind it while it drives

  • @AnimatedKestrel FLIR and thermal wont see the dirt. the vehicle will not dissapear, but it will loose its identifying signature. if a tank or a helo cant ID the target at 2-3 km they can fire at it cant they. thus it gives a first round advantage. in modern battlefield, even a 5 second delay means a lot. its not meant to hide it completly.

  • @tbilisicentral i know the about the thermal and all that im talking about the ground troops spotting the dirt flying in the air

  • @AnimatedKestrel well, i didnt contest that point :) u gotta be blind not to see the hunk of camuflaged metal wven without dust. i think the idea bihind it was to fool sensors rather then the eyes. in these days of long range engagements sensors do play a vital role. if the soldier with a man-portable ATGM or RPG sees it i think its already too late. as long as he(soldier) gets surprised and wont get a early warning of approaching group of enemy vehicles. thats all i meant.

  • OMG where did it go?

  • any army buying this crap deserves to be defeated!!!!!!!

  • uh sir i think that mountain of pot on wheels is shooting at us 0_0

    NO WAI!!!!

    -_-

  • @0v0bleed0v0 Light it up boys lol

  • in a helicopter, while this is in a large bush, you could hardly see it if you tried.

  • from air you wouldnt see it easily, on ground probably, Tank with a gillie suit lol

  • I know! Let's bring call of duty up! xD

  • FAIL!

  • oh look that bush is driving through fields at 60 mph. kool.

  • Nothing unnormal here just a bush with wheels thats moving.

  • that would be hard to see from the air flying in a jet

  • ...reduces IR signatures...

  • @albertkc2007 it's a tank with some leaves stuck to the side?

  • lmao this is a fail

  • 1:14 u cant see it at all (sarcasm)

  • Soon this will be replaced with invisible cloak technology.

  • lol. is that a tank? no i think its a pile of leavse in the form of a tank.

  • It looks the same they should ad artificial leafs, plants and branches on it

  • its an 80s video but we're still using the cam nets that out date this movie

  • it would still show on infared

  • At least make it baggy or SOMETHING to make it look remotley like a hill or something LESS like a tank!!!!

  • civilians have no idea what a difference this would make

  • Patrol Team: Dude is that a giant humming bush? Yeah man they grow weird crap out here lets keep going!

    LMBO!

  • dam old 80s documentary!

  • Just as good as sticking your head in the sand!!!! And as usefull as a solar powered flashlight!!! LMFAO!!!!

  • @sarsvet ROFLMFAO

  • omg it soooooo high tech

  • "RPG! We're doomed!"

  • It's meant for staying hidden from aircraft flying over. It could be useful when the engines aren't running such as when people may be camping or waiting for orders or something.

  • People who disparage this type of camo have absolutely no idea of its use. Do us all a favour and keep your ridiculous and idiotic ideas to yourself.

  • stupid, most tanks today can see the heat of the tank, and infantry can hear the engine noise.

  • only an idiot would miss that

  • lol even u cant reall see the tank clearly.. you can still see the huge smoke screen it produces

  • See, those guys are Europeans or something because the Americans wouldn't want to waste their money putting damn blankets on their tanks.

  • great guys you made the tank look like a fucking turd. No one would shoot at the moving up on you cause ohya its camouflaged nevermind pffffffffffff

  • omg where'd it go??!

  • its a god damn camoflauge blanket. i think i had one of those on my bed a few years ago. soooo high tech... lol

  • @NimaRahi

True, but it's very useful camouflage blanket, since I hear they're coloring tanks red now ;-)

  • Comment removed

  • LOL

it still looks like a tank

  • @sckryde Yeah, well at least you couldn't see the tank through a couple layers of trees. It may not be texture camouflage, but it's definitely color camouflage. If the tank had something closer to a ghillie suit. That would be pretty awesome.

  • @sckryde lmfao hell yea

  • its actually pretty good, i mean if your not moving THAT MUCH, and it protects against the vehicals heat and thermal .

  • @waaazapwnz If the vehicle wasn't moving it wouldn't give off any heat in the first place

  • HOLY SHIT WHERE'D IT GO?!?!??!?! O.o

Its like WAAY better than what Bungie came up with! Like this fucking OWNS their asses! Look! You can't even see it! In Halo, you can always see this huge character running up to you with an assault rifle when you play, but THIS! You can't see ANYTHING!!!!

    *end of sarcasm*

  • what a load of old shit

  • yea thats so hard to see.

  • Works ... as long as you dont move

  • O MY GOSH WEAR DID IT GO.....hay bob do see that?...See wat. that tank with some leaves on it....o ya there it is

  • the most adavanced on the market wtf! some rag with coulers on it ! probs made in india

  • What next attach a tree to the damn thing. "Hey is that tree moving?", man replies "Probably just the wind."

  • 1:13 OMG i cant see it!! where the hell did it go?

  • :DDDDD

  • the human eye is going to notice a MOVING tank no matter what.

  • Yes, and FLIR will see the thermal signature.

  • ya especially with a dust trail

  • @MegaRobo9867 True but this would be awesome for an ambush. The enemy won't see it if its not moving and therefore they won't stand a chance.

  • @MegaRobo9867 It's not the human eye they're trying to fool here. It's multi spectral meaning IR and UV sensors can't detect it. The color is just to give the tank a HIGHER chance of not being seen by aircraft and infantry using conventional recon equipment.

  • @Fros7bite

Oh, well now it makes sense.

  • @Fros7bite

    If it's not moving anyway.

  • It looks like those tanks are from a computer game and their textures have been changed to... well.. plants.

  • Wonder how well this "Signature Management Technology" deals with Thorn Bush Technology?

That Velcro is going to cause most of this to be left behind when said encounter occurs.

  • Swedes - The masters of disguise!

  • Hmm i wonder why the trees sudenly started to move...

  • What the shit are they doing? They're giving the tank a fucking ghillie suit.

  • @Hippiehater1683 so from a distance they're not seen.

  • @Hippiehater1683 *cough* that already happend in 1939... people would put on that kind of material, and bushes, leaves, etc.

  • Heh, custom fitted velcro screens.

You'd think they would want to break the shape of the tank with tree branches or similar for further camouflage effect but aguess these are meant to fool optics more accurate than the human eye.

  • completely agree, because nothing is less suspicious than a tree charging through the fields at 80km/hour

  • hehehe, that made me laugh out loud mate.

  • Made me laugh out loud too mate ;-)

I don't get how this simple net which protects against broadband radar is supposed to protect against the milimetre wave targetting radar used by an apache.

I also don't get how a stealth aircraft (F117) can be shot down by a balkan state with a 60s era radar, yet this piece of cloth renders a many ton slab of steel radar invisible.

Surely I'm not the only one who doesn't buy this? I see little evidence, only claims.

  • Wait....I just got an Idea....GHILLIE TANKS!

  • propaganda?:P

  • Advertising

  • very nice i will put it on my tank and it will be INVISIBLE :P:P:P

  • Pimp my tank!

  • People seem to misunderstand the purpose of these screens

It's to fool smart missiles that track differences in color and pattern of the surrounding area.

In addition, from a height a regular helicopter would fly, those would be unnoticeable from above.

  • where did it go

  • right men, if we hop into this tank shaped bush we will be hidden yea shure boss.

i mean hoping into a green tank aint going to help

  • when i saw the pic of this vid, before i actualy watched the video, i thought it was a vehicle made of weed...u know, like the truck in Cheech and Chong's "Up in Smoke" lol

  • That's one fast moving bush!

  • Just what I need for my tank!!!

  • Lol did anyone else think that looked almost exactly the same after they panned out on the first shot of the vehicle? I actually laughed out loud. useless tech.

  • They should use a Marpat pattern

  • India's Arjun tanks have got these for operating in the deserts.

  • tank snuggies!!

  • 3:17

    IT'S STILL A GREEN SHEET!

  • I don't get it :(

  • Don't worry men! They'll never spot us under this green blanket!

  • 'Multi-spectral ultra-lightweight comoflage screen'.

Also known as a £190,000 blanket.

  • No... the idea is that is kills thermal imaging. A tank that's just been running will be like a second sun amongst grass on thermal imaging. This blanket covers that up.

  • One second there was a tank and the next there wasn't. Amazing.

I wonder how long it took to create this technological miracle.

  • Where'd the tank go?

  • Sorry sir, I won't pay a penny for those rags! I might not own a tank, but even if I had, I wouldn't be fooled by this!

  • Then I'm certain that you have never been out in the field trying to find a stationary enemy before they see you. It's a lot harder than you think, even when they are not camouflaged.

  • the enemy would sure be fooled. If tank shaped bushes happened in nature lol.

  • If it guards against FLIR why are they showing it in the daylight?

  • Radar and infrared says hello

  • "Advanced"?

Better things were done in WW2 about camouflage!

  • it might work in desert like areas like in afganistan so the dust coming behind it can actually help keep it undetected but in a place like that....failed :(

  • That sure is a funny bush tommy.

    Yes it sure is...BOOM...!

  • That bush sure is moving fast... And it's spitting up a lot of dust behind it... OH SHIT IT'S A TANK!

  • oh yeah nobody gona see the 50 mph chia pet tank moving

  • (-__-'') facepalm

  • wow it's a camo blanket lol

  • hmm why is that bush moving and growling at me ?
