  • @Skillking22 ------ its a mixture of chinese n malay martial arts.It brought down by a chinese muslim name Syed Abdul Rahman Yunani who came to malaysia in the 18 century. He then mix his art with silat sendeng and silat sunting then known as silat mersing. From there it evolve to different branch, gayang lima, lian pandukan, lian yunan, senjata lapan .......

  • LMFAO !!!

  • Go learn Wing Chun you Ip man wannabies.

  • Very obvious this is copied from Chinese martial arts. WTF This ain't Malay tradition, duh.

  • @kenfo0 You are such a coward, I will offer to fight you with one hand tied behind my back. Or would you prefer that I fight you with a blindfold on.

  • @kenfo0 Ken Fool, come out and play you yellow-bellied coward. I have challenged you and you refuse to accept my challenge. Stop acting like a bitch and lets fight if you think Silat is ineffective. I will beat you like you have never been beaten before. We can fight in a dojo, park, or anywhere for that matter. I will travel to your location of choice with a few friends of mine, just to show you that you are a bitch.

  • wah..ini kuntau nie..bagos niey..banyak men buah pukul..1 kali sungsung ar pakcik..biau terlentang maklah tu..mahu jalan titi..

  • cantik sabah sarawak xda ke

  • @kenfo0 I train Silat with some hunting buddies of mine in the woods of Connecticut every two weeks. We train realistically and in all weather conditions. All of us are ex military. I invite you to come and show us what we do is unrealistic. We promise not to hurt you. if you are interested, send me a private message. In the gym i train Muy Thai but in the woods it's all Silat for survival.

  • @kenfo0 I returned the favor and marked your message as spam, you no good bastard. I have studied with Silat masters and I'm thankful and very appreciative that they shared their knowledge with me. You are an ungrateful bastard who lacks the ability to understand when someone is giving you a gift of very high value.

  • thats my uncle mazlan...

  • same origins as karate- southern chinese kung fu

  • Untouched kali is Silat by way of Malay and Indonesian immigrants. Most kali styles do not concentrate on stance work so much but a pure style will

  • i have the impression these folks hitted the bar and then decided to go outside and do this video

  • it looks like you make up shit as u go

  • @shinzobeast Ignorance is bliss when you don't know .

You would not want to run into one of these guys trust me .By the way read Dan Inosanto's biography he was one of Bruce Lees first students in California in the early 60's and the taugh Bruce Lee Kali and escrima..watch the last fight scene in Game of Death ,,that is Dan Inosanto ,,,,fighting Lee with Kali sticks his mother art is Silat this israw Silat you don't know what yo uarecalling shit...its high knowledge.

  • i can only hope that if anyone ever attacks me in the future, they will have learned from this nonsensical garbage.

  • @kenfo0 What you are calling nonsensical garbage is high knowledge above you intiellect here is what you don't know go research ,,before opening you mouth and making a fool out of your self ..I have been a praticioner since 1975.

FYI ..l have you ever heard of Dan Inosanto GOOGlE him read his biography this Silat is one of his mother arts that he has used as his base in his knowledge

search. As he continues to evolve .

  • @sanucues I am POSITIVE you have "high" knowledge. Your prattle is that of one who is high all the time. Dope makes you a dope...put down the pipe, girly. You are a "practitioner" of bad English and "candyland" kungfu. Your last paragraph about D.Inosanto is a pathetic "hail Mary" attempt to gain credibility. It is a logical fallacy known as "appeal to authority", and you have failed miserably. Grow up kid. Now run along and spout some terrorist crap at someone else, nancy.

  • @kenfo0 you no good bastard. show some respect to a master that is kind enough to share his techniques. Many Silat masters refuse to share their techniques to people that are not their students.

  • please, i don´t konow the art, thoug its seems very amazing; but someone could explain to me the diference between silat and kali?

  • maybe they just happen to have a camera and decided to have some fun with wath they know after a few drink and why not put it on youtube...

  • u dun know wht theyre doin, u dun understand this concept so shuddup....but i have to admit..this vid is weird...

  • thanks for sharing ...!!

    [5 stars]

  • jajajajajajajajajajaja crazy drunkest

  • WTF, it's drunk mexicans

  • long live silat malaysia!

  • FFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

  • I've never seen people so stiff fighting

  • it's stiff to show technique to nonpractioners, i guess.

  • hahaha... anyone in their right minds know who a stiff "practitioner" is or who is just a mindless dummy. Just so you know who you're talking to, I got 8 yrs in BJJ, 3 yrs in Capoeira and my dad used to be a 7th degree black belt in Hapkido, not to mention other techniques I have studied and researched. I have NEVER seen anyone train with stiff mindless dummies, other than real mindless dummies.

  • at the expense of sounding conciliatory, I wasn't insulting you. I made a simple observation. I really didn't need a curriculumn (sp) vitae. you felt they were stiff and so they were stiff to you.

mindless vs. mindful. i appreciate their expression of technique.

  • unfortunately the internet has not come up with a way for us to read each other's intentions, just our words, so it is easy for misunderstandings to happen. No offense taken, and at the same token, accept my apologies. I am sure that the techniques would have been better served with demonstrations that would mimick or at least resemble an action-reaction interactivity between the 2 demonstrators. I have this pet peeve regarding showing techniques against lifeless dummies, that's all. cheers.

  • It's cool man. I hear you on the internet, though. alot of times people who have very little knowledge will strike out at people like yourself and others just for the sport of it but if they were before you in real life they wouldn't say anything. Not a fan of internet courage.

i study aikido and just about everybody has something to say about it, negative or otherwise.. capoeira is an excellent martial art. you easily gain gain style grace and balance.

  • OSS !

  • Lagu mmg terbaik utk video ni. Syabas.

  • Nampak kuat lagi Pak Atan..

  • THANK U FOR THE PRESENTATION

  • where can i learn this technique

  • They are the golden generations of MALAY WORLD of PENCAK SILAT....MMA do look good on stage fight & on somebody who don't know a damm thing about fighting...I still remember this one video on nothingtoxic about a guy get murdered while doing some ground fighting a la MMA...Silat is an art that is proven true..u need to try it to belive it...for crash course try ask for a fight with any of silat fighter available...good luck..

  • wat is this? bum fight training?

  • yo they have this thing its called mma and it supersedes all other forms of martial arts

  • mma is 'sport martial art'

  • wow dude, you are a fuckin idiot.

MIXED martial arts, how can it supersede all other forms? They use jiu jitsu (sorry for spelling) karate and many different styles.

  • Just shut the fuck up & watch porn.

  • There's a time for everything.

  • jgn layan la baruah2 nih..respek ah video ni..otai2 veteran je smua yg tunjuk..best!

  • This is GAY

    Maylasian GAY

  • Ok internet gangster, if you think Silat is a joke go by a dojo and pick a fight.

  • if he's a internet gangster then what are you ?

  • hahaha i saw silat geting beaten up badly in sum mma match.

  • thats not the true silat....maybe just use silat, but know nothing about it like u...

  • this is call lian, from silat gayang lima.look simple, not as beautiful as other silat that u can see in malaysia or indo, but quite deadly enough.its perform `buah pukul`,means massive attack or combat.for street fightng,it`s really useful, and dangerous also.

  • i recently saw a documentary on this in which two meathead overmuscled american martial artists were whipped ragged by these skinny malaysians useing silat .

loose translation of 'silat' is ...'smart alecs like jellybrainsinc ,fingers out of your noses ! '

  • membuat malu silat aja pak cik, useless...

  • Yang useless hanyalah komentar anda. Justru anda yang buat malu sendiri, master-kah engkau? Saya pikir bukan. Kalo silat lu lebih mantep silahkan dipertunjuk-kan di YouTube, kalo emang punya biji ... heh banci.

  • emangnya silat kamu spt apa ? apakah hebat...

  • nice.for those who dont know silat.try to use some of the skills(i dont care if you called it trick or what) to your friend.and fin out whether it is effective or not, this is not the trick used in the ring,it has been used on the street.

  • THIS IS A JOKE RIGHT.....?

  • interesting but not effective

  • go find them and try them

  • On like 2:31 I actually learned something. Which's to move away. Other than that, you can't really use such techniques in a fight, anymore bc fighters happen to cheat more to win, now than before. You'll be most likely labeled as a fight's clown than a master if trying all that stuff. Blah, me.

    :p

  • 2:50 - guy combs his pelo

  • This is Great stuff. If you know Silat you know that this is very Good!

    Salam

  • berseni...hebat

  • u talking about my grand grand father k...who send this video...

  • pakcik mne ko upah ni

  • i'll get rambo on your ass!

  • This will work. The Mexican comment was childish and stupid. All of these concepts work, Silat has worked for centuries. What basis can you say this wont work?

    Grow up guys.

  • should rename this mexican martial farts LOLOL

  • Mexican? these people are not even in the same hemisphere as Mexico. your a real smart one there...

  • You are an Idiot.

  • and why is that?

  • Rumah Pak Atan di km1 Jalan Air Hitam - Yong Peng. Selepas sebuah surau disebelah kanan sebelum pagar pencawang TNB, ada laluan tanah merah kedalam. Dihujung tu ada laluan kiri menyusuri pagar TNB tu sampai satu titi kayu. Rumah Pak Atan seberang titi tu atas bukit.

Kalau nak pergi rumah dia boleh hubungi Sham 0167522141 atau Mazlan 0137972636 diKluang.

  • tq, akum

  • pelajaran lapis buah pukul lebih senang difahami bila adanya falsafah gerak atau hawa gerak.supaya kita lebih memahami setiap gerakan dalam lapis bunuh lapis, kata2 hikmah guru ttg gerakan buah pukul juga penting...jadi carilah guru.

  • puuuuffffffffff

  • leshark@spermsuck

  • kat kluang jer ke ade? area kl tadak gelanggang ka?

  • This is real martial arts, not dumb UFC shit!!! Internal arts are much stronger if you but knew...FOOLS!

  • yeah baby go with youre internal shit in the UFC and see how long you servive with youre CHI HAHAHAHAHAHHA

  • yip Wing Chun

  • resembles sum type of chinese kung fu

  • Are you related to Borat Sagdiyev?

  • are you related to that great KIAI master that got knocked the F out in a mma fight???

  • My favorite. Spirit of Mas Abdul will remembered by me. You inspired me guys.

  • ye what you gonna do against a fast jab and a apponant that doenst stand still after hitting

  • Hi boeyaka. Hit your opponent first before he throws the jab, where it hurts most.

  • you really need to spar with a good boxer with youre mumbo jumbo but make sure youre insured!!!!! youll need it

  • yeah but thats not a style that universal concept of fighting it is best to strike before getting hit!!!!! boxers are specialised in them just watch floyd mayweather

  • Fast Jab?

Kick their ass with 18 hits in less than 5 seconds and the break or smash something and pray their spine or neck doesn't break....That is SILAT

  • hahahahah nooob silat is shit in the UFC or real fight and you know it only good styles make it to UFC boxing muay thai bjj. Get youre fairy tail style to a MMA gym and watch how they own you ass That is SILAT

  • what do you do in the street against a knife or a gun? or multiple attackers? What do you do in the real world when you are "grappling or kick boxing" against 3 or 4 guys?

  • lol yh cos ground work is really gonna help u there lool

  • alot of open hand techniques are taken from silat and used in UFC. jus thought id let u kno...

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHA open hand techniques i want to see 1 match from you that some one bitch slaps HAHAHAHAHHAHA ..ITS THE KNUCKLE on youre CHIN that knocks out not bitch slappin LOL

  • ok how bout bas rutten you nob cheese... i havy palm strike to the cranium, nose or the philtrum can knock a person out... shows how much u kno... ur a dumb fuck i suggest u shut up b4 talking shit bout something u dnt kno bout dik head

  • ok a low iQ answer for youre dumbass

lets let youre fist version fight youre palm version who think that would win moron??? ask anybody on street would give a punch or gaypalm strike. In Pancrace u kiddy they are not allowed to punch CAUSE ITS TO DENGEROUS without gloves. you babboon

  • the palm is among the more damaging strikes

even in mma, palm fist with gloves cause more cuts than punches also, palm fists have more concussive power behind them because the area of impact are bigger than punches, more concussive power = more knock out chance. palm vs fist would be an even fite... also wen fighting with ur fist's u run the risk of breaking ur hand... DUMBASS

  • yeah moron go tell chuck liddel anderson silva and fedor emelianenko to strike with theire palms from now cause mr bullshido here knows better

  • nah uve pretty much proven urself to be the moron here. ur just another fan boi... go bak to the hole u came from and i suggest u take ur bullshit elsewhere i wud hate to make u seem like any more of an idiot than u already hav done urself

  • im a C grade BOXER you fucking bitchslappin moron i hope 1 day you get in a real fight and get youre head kicked straight

  • Granted a well-trained boxer can rapidly KO a man with his fists. But the palm heel should also not be underestimated. A good strike to the nose, chin or eardrum can also easily stun or KO. The fact that it is often combined with an eye gouge is a good plus point.

  • IF it was SO effective believe me they would have used it in mma and UFC YEARS ago

  • One of the disadvantages of the open hand in UFC are the rules forbidding strikes to certain sensitive spots (eye gouges, etc.), plus it is true that a professional ring fighter well conditioned fists would probably deliver more devastating blows.

  • A non-professional ring fighter might however find it essential to maintain good hand dexterity (surgeon, guitarist, etc.) and can't afford to condition his fists. Or a busy person wants to learn self-defence without having to commit several hours a week working on the makiwara/heavy bag. That's when open palm strikes are most attractive.

  • Anyway, a number of special forces train and recommend open hand strikes. It really isn't that inferior to fist strikes.

  • ive been training in mma for years and have knocked out fighters with palm strikes before on the street i sure wish i cud meet u one of these days so i can pumble the shit out of your face.

  • arent you related to bill clinton?

  • your a waste of your fathers sperm... werent you the poster child for abortion?

  • hahahahah mr knocked many out with palm strike get the f out of here you lying kiddy you have never fought in youre life before show me a video that someone gets knocked out with gay palm... i can show you zilion fist knockouts

  • yet agen uve proven to be not only an idiot but an illiterate one at that too. i sed street... you wanna see knock outs with palms go look up some pancrase video's or bas rutten videos. i may be young but il still take ur pruny ass u shudnt even be here u pedofile...

  • hahaha you know why you idiot they dont punch wiht the fist in pancrase???? BECAUSE ITS TO DENGEROUS hah moron you dont know anything and im getting tired of this keep youre mombo jumbo in mind until you fight on the street and get owned you stupid people must learn the hard way

  • search up bas rutten

  • Here's a handful of YouTube videos on some respected trainers that might be worth checking out:

    (1) Paul Varnak: "Paul Vunak - Ear Slap "

    (2) Bob Spour: "SAS Fight Secrets DVD from Richard Grannon and Bob Spour "

    (3) Geoff Thompson: "REAL STREET COMBAT - The Real Deal"

All the above respect the palm heel strike / power slap.

  • The account Streetfightsecrets is quite good as well..it focuses on going into a aggressive state and really cool stuff

  • Oops, a typo on the first video... it should be on "Paul Vunak".

  • fucking beaner

  • yeah they would only win an pakistan

  • hey dude, want u to know that our pukulan is for murdering people..not for UFC.and dont think that u understand the essence of pukulan based on this video clip...read the title please...Just BASIC..do U want to taste pukulan? pay a visit to me...Have a nice day.

  • these guys need to step into the UFC cage. they would be murdered

  • hey dude, want u to know that our pukulan is for murdering people..not for UFC.and dont think that u understand the essence of pukulan based on this video clip...read the title please...Just BASIC..do U want to taste pukulan? pay a visit to me...Have a nice day.

  • Hi kk2362. It doesn't take long to fight and kill. Why waste time and energy in UFC?

  • awesome

  • Semoga BUAH PUKUL terus gemilang..dan terbela, dan saya sendiri rasa bersyukur kerana berpeluang mempelajarinya. Alhamdulillah. Daripada generasi=PAK NGAK BENTAN

  • BSuncoverer im a malaysian / indonesian persilat , but i primarily teach malay silat sendeng i see little differrnce and more similarities ! IN my humble opnion i think u should understand adab before making these insulting comments!

  • Yo BSuncoverer, i dunno where u come from, but if u really wanna hv a taste of silat melayu, please let me know. I'm living in Kuala Lumpur...cheers man.

  • Tak payah bagi dia lawan lagi. Suruh dia rasa cabai melaka (cili padi) dulu. Kalau yg tu pun tak tahan, kita halau dia balik.

Kita tak mahu menang sorak, kampung tergadai... menang undi negara tergadai!! Allahuakbar!

  • this is nonsence. malaysian silat is useless. these people can't fight. real silat can be found in indonesia, sumatera and south of philippines. just crap

  • BSuncoverer, we malaysian came from the same bloodline as indonesia....and if u really want to taste our silat, just come here man.....don't give a crap like "these people can't fight". Have a nice day....

  • I'm Malaysian (Kedah). If you come over here, I probably would ask my kid to silat with you. I think you should go to History class, to learn history about South East Asia. :). Peace.

  • hey man, where d you from...i'm indonesian and i think this video is good.

And i think there are no such thing like the best silat style...all is depend on the practitioner, not the style.

  • firstly, go to school and learn proper english!

secondly, show me what you can do and than MAYBE you can talk about silat..

  • this feels like Taekowndo, not Hapkido...

  • it didn't look offensive for me. I've seen the worst one which they need less than a second to put their opponents on ground and I saw it on real fight, not demonstration.

  • see maul565,

the idea was similar but the demonstration was better. Put the fast version first (it was a common demonstration strategy for any martial arts demonstration in Jakarta), than if audience interested, you can put the slow and clear one.

  • Good style!
