Your intro needs work. That first 43 seconds was a bit unnecessary in my opinion, but other than that, it was good.

You have to understand that STS is supposed to have the Miller/Boyett production values..meaning that before the show's title display and actors' credits, a 'prologue section' occurs which builds a crescendo to the theme (i.e., Step By Step with shots of the kids' feet entering the theme park, followed by the rollercoaster's ascent and descent). The first 43 seconds of this intro were taken from a movie which, in my opinion, had a very exciting train scene.

@VaultMasterDBT Have you seen the opening sequence for "The Family Man"? It didn't rely on a prologue section.

No it didn't...but after the uninterrupted procession of cast credits, it featured many scenes of the characters playing at a beach, Gregory Harrison at work, and the family having a barbecue in their backyard, all before the "epic aerial pullback".
