  • pahenge po copy vid.tnx..hiram lang.hehe

  • Wahahaha. But still he is a True blooded catholic. :))

  • I LOVE YOU =)):)

  • If you truly belive in Jose Rizal believe this because even though he realized that he was not only against the Spanish govenment but against the evil Catholic Church he still fought for our human rights and freedom as a true Pilipino, even with his life to give us hope of spiritual salvation. He is just one of the billions of souls that this Great Babylon, this Prostitute murdered and will murder. He said "The god of the Roman Catholics is not my God."

  • You're kidding right? Didn't you know he had a rosary in his pocket the day on the day of his execution? Rizal still remained a devout Catholic and encouraged that education and political reforms were the only ways for the Filipinos and Spaniard to live in harmony. You're saying Rizal was an atheist. On the contrary, Rizal's faith, morality and patriotism were the reasons why we Filipinos see him as the national hero of this country.

  • You're the one whose kidding. If you really read the El Filibusterismo, you will know that Rizal wrote it because of what he experienced that time. He criticized the Religion, which is the Roman Catholic, in its beliefs and foolish teachings. Look at the Chapter where he explained how little children where forced to do something during Chritmas eve.

  • orly...perhaps he was referring to how the priests at rizal's time were 'praising' money and power rather than God himself?

and even so, the catholic church isn't evil. take for example. priests molesting little altar boys. the church does not teach them to molest them, but its their flawed-ness and human-ness that drives them to.

as with any sensible religion, it advocates in some way to do good to your neighbor. it doesnt directly teach to do evil.

    that's the people's choice =D

  • He expilicitly criticized the Roman Catholic beliefs but greatly emphasized the true value of life, that people should be treated as souls created by God, that customs and traditions should never be put on top of the welfare of Christians. Rizal proved himself much more of true Christian, a believer of God, by emphasizing the basic form of GMRC, and not by focusing on idols and repeated prayers. Who said Rizal's an atheist?

  • This was pre-Vatican II we're talking about. I'm sure Rizal and many others felt oppressed by the Roman Catholic Church. The religious system back then was greatly imperfect yet the faith had always been perfect. My point still remains correct that Rizal practiced Christian/Catholic virtues even if he criticized the clergy.

  • Thank you so much, my finals are tomorrow and this really helped!

  • this is a big help for students :) thank you for posting this video
