Computers are usually out of date by 5 years so after that point its YOUR Job to continually upgrade it. If people read and follow the guidelines you won't have a broken computer. I don't know how much i can stress this. This goes the same for Apple/Linux. Im not saying MS is better, but i definitely know that people bashing them is stupid. Especially, if i can type apple failure and get tons of videos of it crashing and other crap. You're just ignoring the facts. All computers fail at a point.

Im just saying that hacker will target you more if you have windows. There are virtually 10x more windows to macs. Time or knowledge to maintain? That makes it all their fault!! thats like saying i bought a car and since i don't have time to maintain it the car eventually brakes. So that makes me able to blame the company for my laziness right? When you buy a product like this, it's your job to maintain it not microsoft. second, you'll need a new computer in about 5 years anyway.

@Essa698 Least security? Its pretty easy to tell a fraud site or email from the real ones. When that fat WARNING sign shows up... chances are... its there for a reason. Once you put that in regard of the website/email history you should be able to make the right choice. The only computers I ever had to actually crash or catch a virus was my 1995 compaq and XP when there was a worldwide virus attack. Not to be mean, but you just don't know how to use a computer.

@Texarmageddon I'm talking about vulnerability. Windows can be easily exploited. It's good that you haven't got a virus but many people do and that wouldn't happen if they were using Linux or Mac. There are undecidable viruses (RATs) for Windows. There aren't any even detectable ones for Mac or Linux. Since there are so many Windows users most are left with viruses and worms due to Social Engineering.

Thats why PC's come with built in firewalls and security programs ? That's why macs don't offer any of these things except a firewall and they ship with it turned off. The only reason macs dont have virus's is because no one has them. Hackers write code to affect as many users as possible. PC's out number macs 1000 to 1 so hackers write code for PC's.

Maybe if you cared to install a Anti-Virus like AVG and not visit all the fake porn sites and download random shit, you won't get no viruses. I used Windows for everything. As a owner of several macs and pcs I'm afraid the mac loses:
1. All current macs are severely underpowered and they lack the Intel i7 chips and the AMD Phenoms.
2. Not a single mac (including their top of the line models) can handle Crysis.
3. They are too expensive, and they keep on increasing the prices while the competition decreases prices.
4. Windows 7 is better than Snow Leopard. This has been confirmed by leading software developers.
5. AGAIN - NO MACS CAN HANDLE CRYSIS!!!!!!!!!!
