  • jajaja explotacion infantil xD

  • Dinah Shore was a Mulatto.

  • @TheDagoDon That's not entirely true. Dinah found out later that her father was of african decent.

  • Very cute and enjoyable, the little kid moves like a PRO

  • The truth of the matter Dinah Shore had races of all colors on her show. She fought with the network all the time to have people of color on her tv show. A very strong supporter of equal rights. So you can judge this great women all you want. But the truth of the matter she was a very very kind hearted soul.

  • Yeah! When I says make love and make no war, because love is lovely and war is very ugly; and when i say ugly I really and truly meant it, Yeah ya know, this is the real musical stuff

  • schräg

  • Really entertaining

  • i meant that they excepted the.

  • that was an example of blatent racism that except then. that primative comment.if you not white, notice that they call you exotic, like you abnormal.

  • lalalalalalaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Are they Asian?

  • LOL, these kids are awesome! (kids, they are in their 50s or 60s by now)...

  • I wish there were more clips of the Dinah Shore show like this one. Miss Dinah had such an easygoing manner and such talented guests. Eddie and Albert are so CUTE.

  • They are so cute hahahaha

  • @zapotecprincess you took the words right out of my mouth

  • @tdqpatches Yes, I like them a lot!

  • they are super cute!! ^^

  • Not a patch on the DIAMONDS original - far far too cheesy!

  • @trackieben

Actually, the Gladiolas wrote and originally recorded the song in 1957. The Diamonds' version came out weeks after and became the bigger hit.

  • @Soapking1965 I have the Gladiolas version(a reisssue not the original!!) but I think the Diamonds is superior - it has more life in it! But it's just personal choice isn't it!

  • jUST TOO CUTE FOR WORDS!

  • VERY GOOD FROM GREECE

  • They were so talented and so adorable. I'd forgotten how cute they were. This performance was much earlier than those I remember: especially I recall their appearance on the Jack Benny show, singing "Killer Joe." Unfortunately they were mainly presented as a novelty act, but they could really sing and play. Thanks for posting.

  • Very very cute

  • Oh this was so cute!! They are absolute little dolls. wonder

what they're doing today? their big song was "killer joe"

    and it was real good.

  • @veadlsteak Thanks Sandi .Totally Cute .. especially the littlest Fella ..put a smile on my Face =) xlnt post

  • very good

  • @CARRODOSMEUSSONHOS

This is brilliant, lovable and moving. Eddie and Albert are just wonderful and sweet. Kudos, too, to 'the brother who is my father'.

Especial thanks to Mr. D. W. Griffith for sharing his works here!!!

  • best video ever.i like the smallest kid.

  • unbelievable.

  • How cute!

  • Bravo !!!!

  • Great clip!!!

  • Oh my God!

  • Es buenísimo el vídeo!!!

    Me parto con el peque!

Creo que Elvis se lo perdonaría... es tan mono...

  • OMG this is the cuttest thing ever!~

  • The 'primitive' introduction comment is done in humour - to confirm the audiences preconception that they are about to hear some quaint folk music, then the surprise is that the act is anything but 'primitive'

  • Dinah didn't mean anything disrespectful by her comment primitive music of the Phillipine Island. If she were hosting a TV show today, she wouldn't say that. She was very well liked by other entertainers.

  • Fantastic! Sorry I missed it back then.

  • its both of us lol

  • KKuutteee =]

    first time hearing

    these kids..

    their pretty good 8)

  • this was vers nice

but I like the version of Elvis the best

  • @VolkerStockel

Die Originalversion von den Diamonds gefällt mir besser als die von Elvis. Aber diese Kinder hier sind die größten! Würde gerne wissen, was aus denen geworden ist....... Suuuper!

  • shut up kcaase you boring twat

  • Hey Weasel and Pig, your opinion is beneath dirt because you are just of the animal kind. Lol.

  • What the hell does the white woman mean when she says: "Here is the primative music of the Phillipine Island"???? Why does it have to be characterized as "primative" when the performers played and dressed in Western way already. Her comment is simply insane and what is up with her wearing a Chinese blouse or dress for if she does not like Asians????

  • This is just too precious for words!!! Love it.....

  • Being a Brit, I`ve never heard these kids before...............Fantastic weren`t they and as for the hostess....Dianh Shore!

  • Nein, wie süß! Beinahe besser als das Original! I Love it!

  • my grandparents didnt come in a ship. My people have always been here..we are white.

  • Unless the "here" you are talking about is in Europe, then your people have NOT "always been here."

  • that comment sound very idiotic....go back to school and study history.....unless you're native American your grand parent's or great grand parents came to America in a ship...lolz......what da heck do you guys learn in school in U.S????

  • where are they today? Very Nice really good reminds me of the Osmond Brothers.

  • so cute!!

  • " That Rock'n'roll really gets around, doesn't it?"-- Dinah Shore, 1960

  • oh i absolutely loove it! <3

  • hmmm...philippines as "exotic" and "primitive." sounds pretty racist to me.

  • you missed the point. her point was that it was NOT exotic and primitive. it's called irony.

  • I don't think it was explicitly racist, but it most certainly was not irony either. Her comments just reveal the prototypical naivete of this era.

  • I don't believe that her comments were explicitly racist nor were they ironic. They do, however, reveal the naivete that typified the era. The concept of "primitivism" perpetuated virtually unchecked until rather recently.

  • I am sure she was making a joke, because they sang rock n'roll. If you knew anything about Dinah Shore, you would know she was not naive or racist. She was always very avant-garde.

  • She was being sarcastic, tying rock and roll to primitive music to be funny. She was a rather worldy woman and certainly the furthest thing from a racist, bigot, or naive person.

  • I'll take this into account, and I will make provisions for any ignorance regarding Dinah Shore. If you paid attention to my commentary, however; you will notice that it is not her that I call naive but the age. The issue is less about her intentions and more about the efficacy with which her intentions communicate to the viewers, particularly viewers in 1951. (Is it racist, bigoted, naive, ironic...?) The fact that we are having this discussion attests to this discrepancy.

  • Or maybe it shows that we are more uptight then they were back then, well at least some of us are.

  • LMAO

  • i love this song

  • Amazing! So great to see. They were good.

  • I laughed till I cried...the youngest is really doing the cha cha...great great clip...one of the best on Youtube....thanks for posting....lalalalalalalalalala......
