@Hemi3127 Im running 18 PSI on stock 9b's and run mid 12's consistently, and before trashing me about the psi limit on stock turbo, I'm running this since a year now and never had troubles (I'm not hating or bragging tho, just saying my '92 can hold its ground in the 12's without breaking stuff)

@xxxmamboxxx you sure they're 9b's? 9b's start to fall off after about 15 psi. They're just not very strong turbos. Possibly a gauge error? If you are holding 18psi im sure it doesnt hold that to redline. But i believe that your running 12's, I got a 91 vr4 running high twelves low 13's at bout 13-14 psi with a few extra bolt ons. Well built cars i have to agree!

@urmston845 Yeah the pressure runs down to about 14 psi after hitting the 5500 rpm, butfrom 2000 to 5500 it holds 18 psi on stock 9bs, but im planning on putting some dr-1000 on the car this summer,.... well see how it turns out

@urmston845 I was tuning it myself but since i put those huge ass injectors, underdrive pulley and retarded cam gears (+1/-3) i had to bring it to the shop to have nice results. I'm not familiar enough with A/F tuning to make my tuning anywhere near perfect

@redteam65 no twin turbo 6g72 ran 11s from the factory more like mid 13 low 14 depending on the health of the car.you might get a high 12 one time if you didnt scatter the tcase trying. what vr4 do you drive ?? a galant

@Hemi4127 free boost mod on the first gens, i have a 91 with it, and that sapposedly bumps it to mid 10 maybe low 11. im not saying ive gotten my car to push 12, i like keeping my car in one piece, very much done with repairing it bc i pushed it to hard, im sure you know that fear. im just trying to say, i guess that last comment was kinda badly worded, that your fairly close to stock boost, and your running stock feul system right? what 1/4 times are you running, if you dont mind the question

@redteam65 i have a 93 vr4,yes i know the fear of scattering a tcase.i'm running stock fuel right now, with a staggared turbo setup 9b and 13c turbo,all cat delete ,straight pipe,fmic,vac reduc,iac delete, walbro 225, and some other stuff i'm sure, 8psi at the moment(just put the rear 13c on last week so no tune yet and i dont want to hit fuel cut,i should be safe to 10psi without tune but no reason to risk it). I havent taken my car to the track not going to lie and say i did,butt dyno 13.1

@redteam65 now the free boost mod gives you 2psi,its ethier 10 to 12 ,or 12 to 14 psi pretty sure it bumps you to 12 ,14 is approching fuel cut. your 91 stock would have an 18 spline tcase ,dont try for 12s. NONE of the vr4s stock ran 12 or less most are mid 13sec cars. they feel faster than that sometimes becuase they launch so hard ,but they dont have the legs to carry the acceleration through the 1/4 for 12s

true, i own a vr-4... but the style is not cutting it anymore, cars are more cut and the lines are more sharp. The 3000gt's are more oval in shape.

its performance is good but the looks are falling behind today.

@DivnaBiH I would have to disagree, i am now an owner of a 1992 3000gt vr4 and i just love the look of it, It's all a matter of personal preference, but I've always found the 1991-1993 3000gt and 300zx to be the best looking cars of all time. (excluding the E-type Jag and McLaren F1)
