Thank you for posting this documentary. I grew up aware of the fame of Gobbi and Callas. I doubt very much that there will ever be another partnership a great as the Gobbi-Callas. Theirs may not have been the greatest voices of all time, but what artistry, what chemistry flowed between them! Thank goodness there are enough recordings available of these two giants of the opera world to remind new generations of their greatness.

Tito Gobbi along with Astrid Varnay were the only two operatic artists who managed on certain occasions to approach the level of Callas' acting
