@EarDestroyers Isn't it illegal to feed the animals. I know there are places at least where it is. Catching people feeding ducks, if illegal, would probably be tricky. It's not like people announce when and where they're going to do it like the people on the video did. And when told it's illegal announce they're going to repeatedly do it anyways giving the police a heads up.

@EarDestroyer no i don't know how much a permit costs. The law is the law. If people did not like it it would not be the law. They should get the law changed. Perhaps a non profit or freely giving could be exempt as a law for example. They were just being stubborn. They knew it was going to happen that does not help. Also i seen a lot of camera phones but no media. So much for getting the word out locally unless they were told.

The cops are just enforcing the law. The stuck up food people knew they were breaking the law and went ahead anyways. If they didn't want to get a permit they could of tried to work something out, try to change the law, go on private property, or figured something else out to do. But no they decided they were above the law, wasteing tax money, wasting police resources, and teasing children with a non existant meal. I heard there are 3 soup kitchens nearby too.
