Bottom line, the music is the only thing that matters. This is the first time I have heard this band. And, I like them. They capture the innocence of the 60's. And thats what made that music great.
It's said the Misunderstood had a spooky ability to suggest images through music ... well, the girl in this video looks so eerily dead-on to how I imagined her from the song itself, that I wonder if the Spongetones had this gift as well!

The big strike against this band if (of course) their lack of originality in style (Beatles clones). Creativity/originality is a major component in true greatness. That being said, they do an excellent imitation of the Beatles.
Used to play them on a small college radio station, back then.
