Just started playing FF V this week, and this is one of the best dungeon themes I've heard in years. It's a beautifully moving piece of music. :)

You think FF5 is underrated? Dude FF2 and 3 are just as underrated and if not even more underrated I think. Anyways, FF1-6 are absolute classics, I haven't played 8-13 yet but 7 even though overrated and was the start of a new FF era and began a modern feel to it it was still epic and still one of the best but it did not have that Nintendo feel. Anyways every FF game I played was amazing I just now recently started this game and now I'm at the part where you find the Earth crystal.

Final Fantasy V is easily one of the Top 5 best Final Fantasy games! I don't give a fuck what anybody objecting has to say about that!

@JonathanFerGold Never played it, but judgin from what I know about the story, and the music I hear, I feel that FF V is like a an old-gen FF IX : often overlooked, not really the most original, but the one that is the most sincere and goes straight to the heart.

The battle system wasn't as simple as FFIV's and FFVI was just MASSIVE as it involved more personalities, a darker undertone within the story and sheer number of extra side quests that added hours to the experience. Plus, FFV was released MUCH later in the North American region so really most of the Final Fantasy fans were acquainted with FFIV and FFVI (Even though they were initially released with the numbers II and III respectively in the states).

But FFV is still a great FF.

I love how timeless this theme sounds. It's so tranquil, peaceful and mysteriously beautiful. It makes me think of a clear night sky with stars and the moon illuminating a lake. Or the view over a city from a mountain or cliff.

...and to think it took Squaresoft so long to finally release Final Fantasy V to us...

@Minan3 If you listen closely this sounds like a remix of "illusionary world -land of summons" theme from Final Fantasy 4. These themes are like brother & sister

Peaceful, but mysterious. It entices the player to move forward, but at the same time, there are hints of mystery. That's what I hear.
