  • 5 ppl were crying and couldn't see to hit the thumb up so you all know what did they hit ..

  • Yay i get to play P3 all over again so i can find out where in the story this music plays! :D

  • @IRatchetI It plays after the New Year's Eve

  • @IRatchetI It plays after the New Year's Eve (Jan 1 and after)

  • Thumbs up if you think this song should play on December 1-11, 2012.

  • Yep, as soon as I heard this music, I knew the end was near. The persona games especially P3 really gets you thinking about life, at least it did for me. Honestly like neko608 said, I haven't been able to pick that game up again and play it. I was feeling down for about a week after I first finished it, lol. Such an amazing game...

  • This music really affects you on a personal level. You know something is gone and you just can't find it. It really just makes you want to defeat Nyx so everything goes back to normal.

  • @RealSolidSalamander Yep and also it lets you kinda down thinking that you may be defeated by Nyx, or sh*t like these, an then the end will come to the world .. Personally I feel like this. I'm 27 days befopre the battle with Nyx, and when I hear this music I really say "What's gonna happen, will I win or not" I know it's just a game but THIS game efect your real life a lot.

  • @george24rock I just beat this for the third time and you, my friend, got it right.

  • Yeah... this song just does something to my heart. Not sure if it's healthy or not, but I love it. T_T

  • @0:37 touches my soul....

  • Love this song!

  • I thought I was done putting songs on my ipod for tonight... I guess not -.-

  • God damn i always cry when i hear this...

  • :(

  • I'm playing video games since I was 6 years old and there has never been a game that impressed me that much. The characters somehow got alive and real. I loved the sad, exciting and sometimes funny story. I agree that it's sad you cannot play it again for the first time. Especially this song from the last quarter of the game makes me feel sad because it reminds me of the desperation in that part of the game. Somehow you feel it's coming to an end. That melancholic feeling comes back at once.

  • Q goose bumps

  • This song... must hold my tears T.T

  • When i heard this song i noticed that a single tear went down my cheek...

I didn't understand then... I was like "Why? Why am i crying?!"...

And at the end of the game i finally knew why that tear was shed...

Then the tears just wouldn't stop when the main character died...

Hehehe. I still just love this game ^^!

  • I m fan of persona 3 and 4 ... Damn it damn it....T_T I should stop crying!

  • i cry when i hear this song

  • I'm playing Persona 4, right now, but... It just doesn't feel the same. Don't get me wrong, I really like it! But with P3... I actually grew attached to the game and its characters in no time at all. As TylightDark said, it actually felt like talking and living with real people.

  • @InvernoEstivo

As good as Persona 4 is, and as colorful as its cast is, there is - and I usually hate how people overuse this word - a legitimate feeling of depth to P3. It's almost emotionally draining to go through, and I don't mean how frustrating Tartarus can get.

I think I can attribute some of that to amazing tracks like this.

  • It was epic the first time you hear this theme at the festival at the shrine.

  • This was the moment when I felt genuinely sad about the whole situation. But then the "Tartarus, Block 6" song made me feel good again (like "have faith, we're gonna make it").

  • whenever I hear this song....i feel like Im watching my friends leave after I say goodbye to them with out them knowing

  • This is the part when I realized that I'm not getting Orpheus Telos by any chance and I'd have to repeat the F-n game once again. 8C

  • The saddest thing about P3 is that you can only play it once for the first time...

  • @neko608 Never thought that way, now I'm depressed. :(

  • @neko608 What I would give to play it for the first time again...

  • @neko608 i totally agree

  • @neko608 What sucks even more is knowing that each time you start a new game, you know you're going to die and there's nothing you can do to stop it. DX

  • No game, other than possibly Mother 3 and MGS4, has given me such a rush of emotion ever. Same for Persona 4.

It's because these games are too darn real!

This game always will leave an impression on me as being one of the best games I have ever played.

  • i will play this song when im ready to head to college. my reasons why is b/c

    1. leaving my family nd starting to live on my own

    2. a new beginning

  • I just reached The decsion a few hours ago and after getting the bad ending a version of this played with lyrics in the credits. Then I continued Normally and I'm going for the good ending and this played at Naganaki Shrine on New Years day. I actually really do like how this has happened becuase it's signifying the end of the game and the gamble SEES are taking. What I really like though is how the Town shows this with the trees and NYX painted all over. It really has drew me in more.

  • Okay, now for a second comment from me.

I honestly felt terrible when I beat this game. I made another playthrough and it truly felt a bit painful to see that Yukari and Junpei were just meeting me again. It's as if they forgot everything that happened. They forgot that we were there saving the world and they forgot everything else.

It really hurt a bit, despite the fact it's a game. Or possibly more.

  • I have a few games that I consider, well, kind of important to me. I'm sure we all do. Most of mine are games that are simply just fun (which is no way a bad thing). This game, though, had a story that I just enjoyed going through. Now that I'm close to the ending (I'm on 1/4 right now), I'm kinda sad. I already know a bit of what happens in the the end, but how it happens... I'm gonna look forward to it.

  • this is the most romantic theme to me in persona 3. i wish they had something like this in persona 4

  • The last month of this game was just amazing. You could really feel like the world is going to end. While I like Persona 4 more, Persona 3 has a significantly better closure.

  • honeslty this music really really impataced the ending and the last month. i honeslty felt scared and stuff knowing that on the promised day, we'd littearly be fighting death.

  • The 5 people who disliked this was the people Shinjiro f**ked up in the back alley when Yukari, Junpei, and Minato went to investigate.

  • Comment removed

  • Akinari and Maiko were best Social Link characters.

I was depressed when i was going at shrine after the completion of their social links

  • This game is so good I'm actually playing it 3 times at once, PSP male and female on maniac and FES. I really wish P4 had the same dungeon system as P3 though. Hopefully they will in P4P if it happens

  • Magnifique mélodie.. <3

  • sora you are so DEEP............ i love it

  • Thumbs up if you suddenly felt a great sadness when you heard this music.

  • @AverruncusFate I didn't feel sad but the music, plot and theme at that point made me feel truly immersed more than any other game that's out today.

  • @Stiglitz51 Yeah, this game is one of my favorite RPGs. It's a masterpiece in every aspect. ^^

  • @AverruncusFate The very second it started playing I felt like I was going to drown in an unknown sorrow. What is this? ;___;

  • @BelovedChirry Yeah, at this point in the game, I felt the same way.

Because I knew I was about to finish the game, and the plot and the theme really made me feel totally absorbed in the story.

...also, in New Game+, I was sad because...err...ELIZABITCH BATTLE, FFFUUUUUU-

/defeated her That is, after 89640438683203068623085316332058 game overs. ¬¬

  • Yea, when i heard this song in the game, i was feeling sad as well. This song screams out "Premomition" of a sad event.

  • IS NO MORE!!!!!!!

  • this makes me wanna cry!!!

    *sob*

  • I was kinda upset when the music changed toward the end of the game. I missed the upbeat music

  • Shits about to end :( thats what I said the 1st time I heard it :)

  • 5 people was cried alot and hit the dislike

  • feel like end of the world

  • Seeing as this always reminds me of an instrumental of Kimi no Kioku/Memories of You, it doesn't comes as a big suprise that I find it touching and sad.

  • i feel like my life is peacefully fading after after listening to this song. its like i can lay in bed knowing my world is ending but even though it is. i know ive done the best i can

  • This gives me chills

  • I cried the first time I heard it

  • it's to sad

  • Damn you game for making me feel emotions.

Also Final Fantasy = SMT/Persona. They're both great in their own way.

  • this song has been on repeat in my head all month

anyone else in SoCal will know why

  • @ShadowBeckwith i don't know but i've been having the same thing go on in my head o.o;;

  • I was really sad when I finished this game.

Anyway, whenever this song starts I get goosebumps! Love it! :)

  • I admit, I felt pretty bad at the end of this game. It actually felt like I became friends with Chihiro, Junpei, Kazushi, the old couple, and all of the other social links.

It also felt pretty bad because they (Except Junpei) didn't see it coming. Chihiro is shy and innocent, along with the old couple being happy and good friends.

It also felt like I wouldn't be coming back for a while, as it if were my last times there. :<

  • @TylightDark Then the game fulfilled its purpose

  • @TylightDark dude you won't be coming back.... you died at the end....

  • @thomasfituy 2nd playthrough?

  • @TylightDark what? I mean you literally died at the end..... you sleep and never wake up. you didn't play the FES version?

  • @thomasfituy Yes. I know, I own FES.

But what I'm getting at is even though that happened, *I* can always come back by making a 2nd playthrough.

  • @TylightDark i was crying near the end of this game cause i than started the sun social link (you should figure out the rest)

  • @TylightDark i loved the old couple almost cried when the husband went into tartarus went berserk to get him back safe. first time i ever in my 19 year life i reacted so strongly and unknowingly so towards a character and a side character no less thats how amazing this gam was

  • This song is too beautiful to end.

I've listened to it on repeat many times and day dreamed

  • I love this music so much! Shoji Meguro is my hero!

  • infinitely better than the P4 equivalent "Omen"

  • akinari was the saddest social link in the game

  • Starting at 0:36 that part of the tune is in the opening of trauma center new blood. Is there any other atlus games that its in?

  • Miss it.

  • Man, I wish you could like, wear headphones while you're playing a game just like with the computer.

  • @AkumaUchitoru this is why i know play this on the PSP XD and as for the description, this game leaves Final Fantasy in the dust

  • @destructiveuchiha

    Heh heh. :) That's cool.

Yeah yeah, I know. Final Fantasy is still quite good, but this is a true masterpiece.

I thought VI was quite good though... but well... maybe it's not as good as I thought. Just the best out of the FF's is all.

    I need more MegaTen. :3

  • Chidori couldn't dislike like this, since she doesn't die if you know how to prevent it in FES. It's great seeing Junpei cry from overwhelming joy, knowing that the person he loves with all his heart is still alive and well. Play through for yourself to figure out how to save her, (hint, talk to Junpei EVERY SINGLE DAY after she dies and give him supporting advice) then maybe...just maybe, you'll be able to save his broken heart.

  • If this song doesn't awaken a new Persona in me, I don't know what will.

  • NYX! I'll.. I'll defeat you! For everyone--! I can't, I won't give up! ><

  • This music will be played month before the end of the world.

  • nyx, takaya, jin, chidori and a random shadow disliked this

  • @LucarioSharingan9550

    Why would Chidori dislike this...?

  • Comment removed

  • @AkumaUchitoru saying that ikutski is really a bad guy was a big spoiler for the ones who didnt finished the game :/

  • Comment removed

  • SPOILEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERS

    DON'T READ THIS SPOILERS OKAY

    This reminds me of when Minato just like... ascended into the air to Nyx. that was freaking beautifulllll. ;_;

    SPOILEEEEEEEEEEEEERS SPOILERS

    DONE

  • LOL. All this talk about Final Fantasy all the time. Well, I have to say there's at least one thing that makes Persona better though it's kind of stupid.

You know how in the manual or something, it has the character's last names listed, especially with Aerith having the name Gainsborough? I don't think you ever really hear those names, but out of formality such as Mitsuru, you hear it all the time, their whole full name. It's nice...

  • No offense, but the J-Pop was starting to get annoying after a while. I didn't truly appreciate the game until the very end.

This song is so sad, like it's the city's final moments... but then you go and fight Nyx and save the day! :D

Honestly, I thought Nyx was harder than the Reaper but both were a pain...

  • a music that fits 21-12-2012

  • Omg... the first few seconds of this make my stomach twist up with dread. I was always fast at exploring the city in P3P, so I'd turn down the volume when this song was about to come on because the start of it made me feel awful D: It's really pretty overall, though!

  • @GekkoukanGirl Then you just gotta BURN THAT DREAD.

  • @DeviantBias It has been burned! xD

  • This song convinces me that sleep will cure everything.

  • I can't move on because of this song -.-

  • I remember that with this song everything around town was so calm, that I sing this song like it's in the credits. That made me feel happy, even around so many Lost.

  • Fuuka : The enemies are down! Now's your chance!

Aigis : Let us commence an All-Out Attack!

Minato: Lemme think... should we attack?

    Yukari: Quick!!!

    Minato: Errr...

    *The Shadows run away

    Minato: We won the battle!!!

  • When in the game does this play? I can't recall this song.

  • @JanembaJanemba

you never went out after Christmas did u o.o

  • @JanembaJanemba the last month when u let ryoji live u get an extra month wer all the sound tracks change ......

  • @JanembaJanemba It plays during the last month of the game, January

  • To live life to the fullest, to never give up on friends, nor give up on their memory...No matter how much you cry or despair...Just push forward until the end. That's the meaning of this song to me, right now.

  • is there p3 and p4 on PS3 or xbox?

  • @3t3rn4ldr34m1ng

no these games are a lil old

  • @3t3rn4ldr34m1ng No, but they should make a Persona 5 for PS3 >_>

  • @IAmThey0

    they ARE making a persona 5 for ps3 -___-

  • @poweruel82 WHAT?

  • you know what would be really funny? since people keep babbling about the end of the world in 2012, nyx comes, thats how the world ends. lol, that would be awesome.

  • @swordfish1390

i actually wouldn't mind that at all :p

  • *Town Map*

    *puts controller down*

*lies on couch with hand behind head*

*closes eyes and consciousness drifts away~*

  • @SolFZ I did that more times than i can count. lol, amazing song.

  • This song pretty much sums up Persona 3's theme in a nutshell.

Depression and despair but a hint of hope for the future.

  • @MrRaui I wouldn't call P3 a depression-themed game, not by a long shot. There's some of that, sure, the drama is a huge part of the game, but the game's theme is still mostly positive. Stuff like saving humanity, infiltrating Tartarus, going to vacations, socializing with people... All that stuff gave me a positive vibe. Even the bittersweet ending had a positive side.

  • @GangWarlord

Well I mean that more how the game is near the end. But Persona 3 has depressing stuff in it as well as the positive all throughout. It just isn't as readily apparent. There's moments like Yakushima and the Hotel which are positive and then you have moments like Shinji and Chidori which are negative. It sorta balances out. Sorta like 2 sides on a coin.

  • @MrRaui Eh... Maybe. I do know that P3 has a lot of different moods, which gives it depth. I didn't really find the game depressing... I did find it moving, though. I guess it's ultimately a matter pf perspective, though.

  • There is a lingering sensation of despondence through out the song. ...Alluding that death is indeed on the horizon, and that the end is slowly crawling near. It accentuates a feeling of hoplessness...yet at the same time, there is a faint resonance of hope in it. It's subtle...but it's still there.

I would literally sit my controller down and just reflect on the entire P3 journey while listening to it. It's brillantly orchestrated, epic in every sense.

    Persona>>>>>>Final Fantasy.

  • @sora364 *Reading Comment* Very true... So true... I agree... Same here... *Sees unnessicary comparison to Final Fantasy* Oh, for f**k sakes...

  • @Armitaco Haha, my post was going to be identical to yours. Unnecessary comparisons FTL.

  • @Armitaco my exact reaction.

  • @sora364 Not to be rude,but you missed about 7 000 000 <s.

  • @sora364 Persona>>Everything in existance

  • @sora364 i did the same thing x3 isn't it just awesome? it's just great to listen too lol

  • @sora364 if they both work together.... awesome graphic... badass soundtracks... and.. it can be the best rpg ever made...

  • @sora364 SPOILERS : memories of a past time that won't come anymore for minato , I felt nostalgia of gekoukan and the city hearing that and the other song " :(

  • @sora364

Why is it that somebody with poor grammar who abuses large terms they don't quite understand gets so many thumbs up?

  • @Discreetuserhandle U mad, bro?

  • @sora364

    Not really.

Though I am disappointed in you, using a generic meme as a reply and such.

  • @Discreetuserhandle Pardon me. I found your belligerent response to my writing prose (with the exemption of two typos) to be sophomoric in nature and utterly unworthy of a proper response. Generic internet memes suit you seamlessly. With that asserted: u still mad, bro?

  • @Discreetuserhandle why is a faggot who can't get thumbs up bitching about comments on youtube??? Yeah, Sora's right. u mad, nigga lmao

  • I'm gonna play this over and over when 2012 comes. This song is so fitting for the end of the world. :D

  • @KohtarouKuga 2012 Won't happen. Why do you all belive in that crap? =/

  • @Neo380x Lol dude i was just joking. I find it HIGHLY surprising that everytime i make a joke, somebody takes it seriously. What, Am i not allowed to crack a joke in my whole life? >:I

  • @KohtarouKuga Sorry, cause i've heard and seen it mentioned all this month, i just got sick of it. But if you didnt mean it, sorry. It's cool :P

  • @Neo380x it would be hilarious if this hysteria came from the people that played p3! they're like "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO, NYX IS COMING!"

  • 5 people are with strega..............

  • I know my vote only counts once, but everytime I pass over these Persona 3 songs, I just have to click the Like button again.

  • seriously this song makes me feel so sad....is like the world's going to end and this is the one last song....Damnit...

  • I'm at December in P3P but I don't remember ever hearing this... Where in the game is it from?

  • @Monfri You shouldn't listen to P3 music on the internet if you are playing the game because there are spoilers, like this one: It starts playing on the last months of the game, during the end of the world.

  • @Raiden1000002 I pretty much spoiled most of the game for myself by reading about it before I got the game and while playing. I've kicked myself over it many, many times in the past 100 hours. The aftermath (memorial) and unexpected scenes (dad video) were still very moving, though.

  • @Monfri its towards the end of the game. during spring after the main character dies.

  • anyone know which site i can download all the music of p3?,.. coz i search already in limewire but its not there,... maybe i just write it wrong?,.. anyone know?,..

  • @DeViLGhoSt17 Haha, link is on the description :)

  • P3 -great game! ,it give us lots of knowledge and emotions ♥ :D

  • I wish that ten years later, after I forgot about Persona 3 and all, I suddenly hear this song and start getting an extreme sensation of nostalgia.

  • I love this song. T_______T

  • As I listen to this, I can't help but wonder it gives anyone else as much inspiration as it does to myself. It's this kind of music that gets my adrenaline pumping more than any other kind of music, it hits me and leaves me speechless while I'm consumed in my own imagination, and I can't help but appreciate all the world has to offer. I could only dream of being able to create such a work of art that even a single person can appreciate as much as I do with this.

  • I think that Memories of the City has a nice, crystallic blues tune. This song has "there isn't much time left" written all over it.

  • Shoji Meguro, I hereby give you permission to fuck my ass.

  • @darkhood21 GAY

  • @darkhood21 Haha, that's an awkward way of putting it but I completely agree. No fancy dinner or anything.

  • this is... heart-wrenching....

  • This is probably my favorite song on the soundtrack. Whenever it comes on I just put down the controller and chill for a minute.

  • somehow this song really hit me there on the spot when it was time for the last battle and everyone knew that the world is gonna end. its like everyone had their own wishes and resolve to not let nyx destroy the world but though the protagonist's wishes were not mentioned at that time, at the end, he sacrificed himself to save the world. maybe probably his reason was that even if the world is going to end, he would sacrifice himself to make everyone happy.
