Ron was an absolute legend. I had the pleasure of hearing him play a number of times in Rottingdean. When in the mood he'd bring his sax along just to jam with other bands that had been booked. He was such an amazing character and is still missed so much.
Back Door.What a band.beautiful songs,top quality musicians,passion and originality.Anyone who hasn`t got the first album Back Door, or Eighth Street Nights or 2003`s Askin` the way is missing out big time.Wonderful stuff.

Ron Aspery the saxophonist was mates with Roy Chubby Brown and they ran a shop together in the 70's.
