Criminally underrated era of Black Sabbath, I gotta admit I've never heard any of these songs. But this is absolutely kick ass heavy metal, it sounds a bit like Dio-era Sabbath in terms of guitar sound. What a way to start your day: "Silence is mocking the dawn of a new day":D
Again, who are the 2 knuckleheads that don't like this Sabbath masterpiece. Perhaps too many lead paint chips, glue sniffed or dropped on their heads too often to appreciate it! Good luck getting a reasonably priced printing of this...thankfully I have a 1st print...thank the lord
This song is so unlike any other song they'd ever done... I love the speed and tempo of this... reminds a bit of Whitesnake's "Fool For Your Lovin' " with way more balls though. Just gotta love Cozy's drums and Tony's guitar; Brilliant and Blazing!!!
The first thing that comes to mind when I hear this song is a chain smoking daughter wearing black leather and piercings whipping a slave with a spike studded chain in a dungeon. "The evil of her nature" ........ "when will it ennnnnd?"
every body always cuts up on ozzy.I like the different era's of sabbath so im not just into the ozzy sabbath but you have to admit ozzy rocked with sabbath, and on his own. granted I haven't liked alot of what he has done recently but give the guy some credit. He has been in the music bussiness for over 40 yrs and has made some kickass records with sabbath and on his own
One of Iommi's absolute greatest solos. I subbed for a friend for 5 weeks on his radio show playing hard rock and the first Sabbath song I played on the first show was this one. Stands the test of time.
It is truly sad that Tony Martin is so criminally underrated. This era is one of Sabbath's best!! Some people need to open their minds and appreciate good music, despite who's singing or what the popular trend is.
@MALEVOLENTFORCEMETAL not really, actually it is sabbath's worst period as they sound as an 80's metal band rather than the classic sabbath sound...they have some ok tunes still tho...
dude I thought sabbath was all ozzy but boy am i wrong i'm finding out there's a LOT more to sabbath than i ever dreamed man this band is quickly becoming my OBSESSION
@FRIDAY13TAURUS Yep I don't really like any of the Ozzy Sabbath(prefer his solo stuff). You can't go wrong with Dio/Tony Martin and Glenn Hughes Sabbath.Stay clear of Born Again and Forbidden.

Originally titled Devil's Daughter. I believe they should have kept that name but killer tune anyway.

It would be much better with no synthesizer whatsoever.

I'm new to this version of Sabbath. I prefer Ozzy, Dio and Ian Gillan on vocals. Tony Martin does a great job though.
