Kurohitsuji ia about a 12 year old named Ciel Phantomhive; he created a contract with a demon, hence the bulter, Sebastian.

Ciel's objective is to take revenge for his parents who died mysteriously in a his mansion's house fire. And so, Ciel and Sebastian made a contract with eachother.

Sebastian would help Ciel avenge his parent's death only if Ciel gives Sebastian his soul when the objective is completed.

Thus, the contract was made. :)
