pretty advanced music too, the drum sounds were awesome, I didn't even know the 2600 could produce more than one sound at one time.

No it doesn't. If I can't understand what the Atari is saying, then it's not speech. It's just unintelligible sounds.

The graphics are impressive though.  I didn't know the old Atari VCS/2600 could do that stuff.

Well, guess speech synthesis on primitive hardware must be tested without adding readable text with it and see how many people understand the speech.
