*sigh* I wish there was and HDV version of the XR520v. I mean, i love it's quality, but i love the convenience and archival qualities of HDV camcorders, like my HC9. Do you think it sounds idiotic to get the XR520v and then stream the footage to HDV on my HC9?
And a tip for you is to upload footage with a framerate of 30fps on youtube. I assume that you upload 23.976 or 25 (PAL) fps and youtube tries to make it 29,976fps and therefore you get the "loading marker" on the screen.

lol, you made me feel sad lol. i bought my6 hdr-sr12 3 months ago. If only sony brought this 520v earlier
