icantbelibeit: You can see 3d using a number of different methods. If you for instance have red/cyan anaglyph glasses then simply choose it from the youtube dropdown menu.
The stereodriver needed can be found at iz3d's homepage. This allows you to play your games in 3d. No joke. :D Download the driver, select full install. Under the directx tab ,tick "enable-by-hotkey" and select the viewing option (anaglyph, side by side dual vga etc etc).
While ingame, press numpad [*] to turn on stereo. Adjust stereoeffect with + and -. Convergence with [shift)+[+] and [shift)+[-]. There is more but this is a good start. This does only work for computers of course.
I (among quite a few others) use a stereodriver to play the games in true-3d. These are captured with the "old school" nvidiastereodrivers but this game works great with the iz3d ones too.
To see the effect you need to view the video crosseyed (see explanation by clicking "more info" to the above right. Another way is to load it up in stereoscopic player choosing "right image first" as input format. Not sure if stereoscopic player supports the youtube format though.
INCREDIBLE!!! It actually looks like it has depth.
Just a hint: sit 1 meter from the monitor, cross your eyes until the image on the middle displays ONLY ONE LARA. After that... DON'T TRY TO FOCUS! Put your energy on not losing the cross-eyed "settings" and your own vision will provide the focusing.
If you try to focus the image, you'll lose the right crossing.
Capturing gameplay with software is very laggy even capturing one screen. I used 2 pcs of vga-to-tv-converters and recorded each output from the videocard in my computer with 2 VCR's. (Yes, i play games in 3d using the nvidia stereodriver). After that simply editing them together to this vid.
Looks pretty cool. I am noticing several places where quick movement makes things pop inside-out -- maybe this is related to the lag you mention, where one image has more lag than the other for a frame or two. I'm guessing it's actually just not quite lined up frame for frame. If you can get it perfectly lined up somehow (maybe a queue like firing the gun and then syncing it up to the muzzle flash or something) the motion will look a lot better. Still cool though. :)
You're very correct. The problem is the capturing devices. :/
They capture with a steady frequency of 24 or 25 frames/sec and the output from the videocard is higher than that. This causes some degree of unsync. The other issue is simply that the vga-boxes themselves are not in sync (can only be done hardware way and is complicated).
It works as long as the scene isn't moving too much though.
It's difficult to get the effect when the window is small. Try maximize the window and sit about a meter away from your monitor. I have a better version of this vid (not this much compression) which also give better effect.

Thanks! I will. Putting up one for TRU demo in 3d too. Water's messed up and some skybox are wrongfully drawn. But it's ok in 3d anyway. Stay tuned!

Cool, but how did you do that? Wrote a special movie capture tool synched with a camera position patcher? Or are you one of the developers?
