It's funny, of all four Transformers movies, this is the only one to bomb at the box office but has since become an iconic hit. Plus this is the only Transformers movie that can brag about being released in a box set with Citizen Kane (because of Orson Wells playing Unicron)

one of the charcters desings, Rodimus Prime, he was supposed to be like a old man (that's why the g1 toy has that ugly face) but later on production they changed into something more ''bad-ass'' but they didnt change the toy design

Hot Rod design is also different than the final version, the autobot symbol is at the neck, not in the chest as usual,

most of the designs and story werent ready when they started animating. that's why this scenes are now lost.

Most of the footage in this trailer is test animation, and was not used in the final film. There is also a longer version of this trailer that uses music from one of the Star Trek movies. The extra footage includes Unicron eating Lithone, and transforming to robot mode near Cybertron. Most of this Unicron footage was used in the movie.

Not quite all of it was scrapped. The piece with Arcee pushing buttons and the Autobot city change was kept. This explains why Autobot City is white yet orange in the final version. All at the same time.

Not sure, but I think the color scheme of Ultra Magnus is somewhat base on the DIACLONE toys (pre-transtormers).... then, maybe they decided to change the color in the final cut....

The colors seem strange because we're not use to it. This trailer is awesome. I wish it was used in the Final Cut. The final version has Autobot City orange then white then orange again when it changes. Should of left it like this-white. That would tie in seemlessly with Metroplex-who was white.

In this version of trailer we can see Snarl. In true movie, we dont know what happend with him. We dont se him on Junkion and when dinobots fight with Unicron. We can se him only on autobot city, only for a few seconds

Simple. The footage you see in this trailer was taken from the "promo" trailer. The promo trailer was animated before the actual movie started animation and shown to studios and such to find someone to distribute it. The promo trailer contains about a minute of more footage.

This was not fan-made, retard. The female autobot's name was Arcee and she was only in Transformers the movie and in G1.

Susan Blu did her voice.. Arcee made her first appearance in the Movie and after that starred in the Generation 3 and 4+ series.

This Movie has a lot better animation style, like many people said, it has a more 'Mecha-Anime' feel to it. And if you watch Generation 3 you'll think the animators didn't really want to do it, really bad proportions.
