  • Real Motown, Thanks for posting it. What a sad song. Just wish we could have oneromantic dance without the mass participation of our local soul nights in the West Mids. But hey ,look on the positive side at least they are still playing this 45 yrs later.Motown doesn't rock, It moves!!! Love light and peace Paul Beckett

  • Many thanks Paul, great comments, Motown classic for me this track, thats for sure.

  • Grown up with motown and soul since mid sixties and only heard this last year, but guess it must be one of greatest undiscovered hits of all time :) Unless of course you live in the NE of England in which case it is the last track they play every night at certain discos..allegedly..lol

Please don't tell Terry Wogan bout this track ;)

  • Many thanks for the comment, much appreciated, great to share this stuff with like minded Soulies. And NO I will not be sharing it with Wogan, LOL .

  • wthf is terrywogan?

  • Hi there davedashman, Think i must be like you, hadn't heard this tune until 2007.Haven't managed to get it on my 'phone yet .Will you keep trying. As earlier wtf is terry wogan, could he be irish? he'll get over that.He may not recover from being a piss taking sardonic tosser, but thats another Irish question

  • This is probably the most popular motown track played at my local soul night. Its gets lots of requests and fills the dancefloor everytime. A Motown gem !!
