I find the 'heal' tool better than clone for removing lines and wrinkles. It looks less flat. A mixture of heal, clone and smudge works best.

@kanehawa I'm assuming you mean removing "glasses" from someones face... You would need to use either the 'clone' or blemish' tool, might take some while and you may need to smooth over some stuff/color but It could work. I might do a video sometime on it, thank you :)

The post alteration photo looks a bit like pastel on a photo. I'll assume that may have something to do with the video's quality, but if not, consider working with a few photo filters and reducing transparency on the retouched layers to bring through some natural artifacts from the original image.

Nice video Peter, I particularly liked the overlay tip to make the eyes pop. A little bit long in the cloning (maybe speed up the video in parts), but overall great. In a number of photos I just use blur/smudge instead of trying clone areas, but things like the area around the eyes are particularly tricky. Thanks for the video.

I does! Im going to post a video soon and in it you can see how simple it is. The reason being is beacuse I take a "small" color sample and "brush" over with that color so the result is overall the same...basically you can paint over them.. ^_^

Instead of the eye-shadow, I would have advised maybe darkening the eyebrows or the eyelashes, which go thinner as you get older. But good video nevertheless! Learned a lot.

another method ,besides the clone tool or whatever, is to duplicate the image into a higher layer, then blur the higher layer. Then create a mask for the layer and fill it black, so that you can "paint" the blurred layer onto the sharp one. kinda helps make the lighting more natural.
