This is clearly one of the Idol performances of Carly's that people will look back on and say, "What were the judges smoking that night?" I suspect all three were just reading what was written on the cards in front of them per Paula's comments to Jason the following week. Simon's "...admit that you've got a boner..." comment speaks volumes in the wake of the Paula-gate scandal.
