The thing is, in GTA nobody tells you to shoot civilians. And when you shoot them, the cops will come for you. You will be punished.

In MW2, if you shoot civilians, nothing happens - you just kill them, with no punishment whatsoever, and some people might think of this as false mind images provoking terrorism.

Not gonna lie. This is the most disturbing game ive ever played. I felt a sick feeling in my gut the whole time i was playing that mission... very disturbing for me.. i think they're goal was to show the true horror of terrorism.. ppl say violent video games make ppl violent.. i think this mission did the opposite... if i got a sick feeling in my gut just playing it on a video game, there is no freakin way im doing it in real life

terrorists arent dumb. when they have a new member they generally dont tell them the details of an op until it goes down. i think its a fair assumption to say he was just further demonstrating that he's "terrorist material" in this op, in hopes of becoming trusted enough to know op details ahead of time, relay it to his superiors in the CIA and thus set up a response force and take these guys out.
