Baghdad I MUCH better now since real iraqis are in power now and they were "truly" elected by people. No more ruling of tribes or certain families. US army thankfully liberated iraq and now they are leaving
I know roughly when was this taken. Did you notice the famous saddam statue square (known as Firdaus Square)? It was still under construction in this video and the statue was not yet been put in place. I think this was in year 2001 or 2002 and I remember going to the nearby Alwyiah Club and seeing it being built lol. I loved Baghdad then it looked clean and greener. I don't know how it is now but I hope it gets better and better...
